Book Description

To survive they must trust each other. Only...can they?

Winter, a professional thief who can manipulate others' biologies by touch, accidentally "healed" her former partner--and former vampire--Sebastian, whom she secretly loves. Her healing created a symbiotic pairing between them that neither of them wants.

Nathanial, a sexy thousand-year-old vampire and Sebastian's ex-lover, talks Sebastian and Winter into stealing evidence that will expose all vampires to the world. But Nathanial is a puppet-master who doesn't believe in falling in love with humans, leaving Winter unsure of his real feelings for her once he seduces her, or how he feels about Sebastian, the former vampire-now-human whose life he has turned upside down once more.

But the evidence they steal is hot property. The future of all vampires is on the line and others will stop at nothing to get it, leaving Sebastian, Winter and Nathanial with no allies but each other.  They must trust each other to survive.  Only...can they?

WARNING:  This book contains two hot, sexy alpha heroes, frequent, explicit and frank sex scenes and sexual language.  It includes heart-stopping sexual scenes between the aforementioned sexy heroes, menage  scenes, anal sex and the use of sex toys.  Don't proceed beyond this point if hot love scenes offend you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blood Knot September 8, 2012
By Vanessa
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Blood Knot is one of those books that took me a while to figure out where exactly it was going. Many of the pertinent facts are presented to you from the beginning, but Nathaniel (Nial) and his manipulating ways make you question everything. Nathaniel is a self-professed master manipulator and it made him an intense character to read. Winter and Sebastian are professional thieves. The fact that all three have mastered the art of deceiving others and hiding information from others to get exactly what they want adds an interesting tension to this story when trust comes into play. How does that saying go, no honor among thieves...

Something needs to be removed from human hands. Humans have proof that vampires exist. The vampires do not want this type of exposure. Nial must now find his ex-lover and the ex-lovers ex-partner to pull this job off. Sebastian does not want to be found by Nial or Winter. Winter has heard too many vile things about Nial to want to be around him.

The character development was amazing. Nial, Sebastian, and Winter are very dimensional. The pasts they have left behind, the roads they have taken in life, and the decisions that has lead them to this moment has shaped them into very real characters. They have incredible chemistry that allows them to make perfect sense as lovers.

I was also shocked at the amount of sexual tension. The anticipation of the characters I'm reading finally sleeping together is typically a huge build up for me. That is not the case here. They have very sexual interactions early on. The sex scenes are abundant and extremely erotic. This trio burns the pages up! The not knowing if there was manipulation involved ratcheted up the tension. I was constantly questioning Nial's involvement in anything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blood Knot March 12, 2011
By Shannon
Format:Kindle Edition
Blood Knot is a sexy, dark, intense and impossible book to put down! The author's style of writing is smooth, brilliant and addicting and the story is worth reading for that alone. Filled with adventure and heated sensuality, alive with emotions and populated with intriguing characters I found myself on the edge trying to anticipate what was next for Winter, Sebastian and Nathanial. The danger and obstacles they have to work to overcome makes for some fantastic reading.

Author Tracy Cooper-Posey does a superb job of luring the reader into this erotically delicious story taking the time to slowly and deliberately builds the relationship between Winter and Nathanial who both already have sexual ties to Sebastian which works to form a tight and lasting bond between the three lovers. The complexity of the characters as well as the ménage relationship is interesting and appealing while the passion and dangerous desire they feel makes for some explosive action. Winter, Sebastian and Nathanial are all keeping secrets that play out with some interesting, dangerous and action filled results. The love scenes are hot and plentiful and feature some searing sex and raw emotions. The ending is purely delightful and definitely left me craving for more! I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this new series from the very talented Tracy Cooper-Posey.

This is a book that you don't want to miss and one you will adore reading again and again for the shear pleasure of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot paranormal tale March 12, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This story is HOT. The plot is fast-moving and the characters fascinating. Vampires are my favorite paranormal beings, and Tracy Cooper-Posey easily lures you into a believable world where vampires live just on the fringes of society - almost, but not quite accepted. Winter is a great character - and I loved Nathanial from the start. They have to learn to trust each other in order to save their world - but it's not easy for Winter to trust - her past is so painful she can only trust herself. Meanwhile, she has to rely completely on Sebastian, a former lover, former partner, and, because of a quirk from her talent for healing - they are now totally dependent on each other to live. Not something either of them wants! The three are drawn together and...well, let's just say things heat up to incandescent! Don't miss this great read!

4.0 out of 5 stars steamy breath of freshness January 17, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I won't go into summarizing the story for you since there are plenty of other reviews and a perfectly good description above. I'll just say that I was into this book from the get go. I was always left wondering what was a manipulation and what wasn't. There is plenty of hot lovin' in this story and that alone kept me reading. But aside from all that...the story was still a good one. I found myself on the edge wanting to know what was going to happen next and where this story was going. The romance was a slow tantalizing build up and once things started to happen, I was totally glad I was along for the ride. There was never a dull moment for me in this book. No over descriptive paragraphs, unnecessary and excessive internal dialogue and no pointless twists or turns that would make parts of the story pointless.
There was a smooth flow to the writing that kept me turning the pages and wanting more. I definitely recommend this book for those that love twists on the paranormal, paranormal romance, urban fantasy...whatever you want to label it.

More About the Author

I have been writing and publishing romances since 1999 when I sold my first two books in the same week (after six years of flogging my work to editors who didn't recognize the staggering genius within). Many of the fifty-plus books I've released so far have been romantic suspense under my own name. I've also squeezed in the odd contemporary and historical romance or two. For a brief stint, I wrote paranormal and urban fantasy romances under the name Teal Ceagh - more on that below.

On March 8, 2011, I went indie. After thirty-five novels published with legacy publishers, I turned to self-publishing, and released the paranormal/urban fantasy romance, BLOOD KNOT, under my real name.

In the future, I will write a lot more paranormal romances (many of them vampire romances) and urban fantasy romances, and quite a few more romantic suspense novels.

Teal Ceagh was created in mid-2009 to allow me to write wildly different types of erotic romances for Ellora's Cave and market them without disrupting my already established readers there. Teal Ceagh wrote the hottest of MMF ménage paranormal romance and urban fantasies that Ellora's Cave have to offer, and that's a pretty extreme jump from the erotic MF romantic suspense I was writing then. I didn't want my established readers to get whiplash.

Lots of people ask about the name, Teal Ceagh.

Actually, it's still really my name. It's my intials: TLC. If you pronounce them, you're saying Teal Ceagh. "Ceagh" is pronounced "see" and it's Irish.

As of March 2011, both Teal Ceagh and Tracy retired from writing erotic paranormal and urban fantasy romances for Ellora's Cave, so Tracy can concentrate on Indie publishing.

When I tell people I've been writing since I was 14 they tend to look at me a little oddly, but it's quite true. I fell in love with Harrison Ford and Star Wars at the exact same moment, and wrote the unofficial sequel in the following year. Of course, I had Han Solo and Leia falling in love long before the sequel came along, and in much more satisfying fashion than George Lucas ever managed.

What I didn't realize at the time, and not for another twenty years or so, was that I had been writing fanfic, possibly the first of its kind.

On a completely off-topic side-note, I used to lie awake at night, listening to the Star Wars soundtrack on my record player, and re-playing the movie in my head, fantasizing about how wonderful it would be to somehow be able to play the movie at home, whenever I wanted. Eight years later I saw my first Beta cassette player. It was the size of a small suitcase and weighed 45 pounds. A few years after that I got to buy my first VHS movie-Star Wars. That was a reflective moment in my life.

However, while things have clearly changed over the years since my first bad attempt at getting a hero and heroine together on paper, two things have not. I'm still writing romances, and I'm still throwing my hero and heroine through a fair imitation of hell while they're sorting their feelings for each other out -- the essence of romantic suspense.

But hey, here's the boring stuff: I'm Australian, although I live in Canada. I still have the accent, although I've been here over a decade now. And I still have trouble remembering it's a hood, not a bonnet, and stuff like that -- you'd be amazed how hard-wired culture really is. It calcifies internally, I think. But the mountains here are stupendous, so I think I'll stick around. Besides, my husband is kinda cute. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention? I met him on the Internet back when it was a few HTML pages and a couple of bulletin boards or two, and me and the kids (three of us) packed up and moved here.

The kids are no longer really kids any more. They're both taller than me now, but I didn't say that aloud, okay? I'd still like them to think I'm the boss for a while longer, at least.
