Omg!!! The 6th book was captivating! I can't wait for the next book. kailin gow is an excellent writer I read the entire series in less than a week. I can't dare spoil the book for other readers...but I will say this...you can not put the book down!!!

I'm so addicted to this series. I read all 6 books in Pulse in a week, and I still want more. Here is why I can't get enough of Pulse.

Blood Legacy shows a depth of growth in all the characters. It starts off with how Stuart surprises everyone with his level of devotion. He is such a wonderful guy. It tugs at my heartstrings how good he is as a person and a vampire. Jaegar, oh, Jaegar does something that spokes volumes on how much he cares for Kalina and his brother. It broke my heart, but it made me proud of him. Octavius is the one who I appreciate seeing to the depth of his core. He has a beautiful soul, although he is a vampire. That's why I'm in love with this series. I have to get the next book now!

I love how the story line of Blood Legacy blows everything we know of Pulse and Kalina's Life's Blood out of the waters. Kalina may have chosen one brother, but it was her blood that made the choice, and in Blood Legacy she fights against what her blood wants and what she wants. She knows in her heart she loves one, but he can't be with her. It is only when he nearly lose her to death and she is distraught that they succumb to a night where all their forbidden feelings are explored. It is raw and the most beautiful scene I have come across. There is desire, but it's not graphic. It's so beautifully and sensitively written, I felt Kalina's heart breaking and her vampire love's heart breaking at the truth of them never being able to be together. I'm a Pulse fan and now I'm a bigger fan of the depth a popular fun book like this can dig into to reach the inner core of these characters. Just looking at this as who will Kalina choose is just surface reading. When you look further, it is so much more.

While I am for sure a Pulse fan, as the series goes on I find myself torn between liking it and hating it. I love the story, I love the idea of more then just one love interest, but I am starting to hate that every book has Kalina going back and forth between loves. It makes me not like Kalina so much anymore......Possible spoilers.......

While I understand the blood within her pulls her to each of these vampires, I do not agree or understand how she can go from fooling around and almost getting naked with one on one page, and then go to another one literally 2 pages later. I feel like by this point in the series there should have been at least some resoloution as to who she really loves, but sadly she is still so torn, and jumping back and forth.

All that being said, I love Kailin Gow's writting and all of her books, and this series is a change of pace from the other stories out there. If you have followed the series to this point this book will not disapoint you.

I did not think there could be more after Blood Bond, but this proves the world of Pulse is so rich, what you expect takes a complete turn. I had to admit I went in expecting Kalina to find someone whom I wanted her to be with, but in a marvelous plot twist, Pulse gets elevated to a deeper richer story. I love it. There is a new arc in this that I wasn't expecting, and it made me cry for a while, feeling what Kalina felt. If a book can get me to feel this much pain and emotion or even half of what I felt, it goes on my Top Keeper Shelf!

Each book in Pulse keeps getting better and better. In Blood Legacy, you see so much more to Kalina, Jaegar, Stuart, Octavius and Justin. The emotional and physical challenges they endure brought out so much more of their character. There were two parts in Blood Legacy that had me in tears. I'm not telling which two parts, but they are some of my most favorite Gone With the Wind moments.
