I began reading this book while at work and every break that I had for the past three days I was glued to it. There is never ending drama......I could see each and every character and scene in my head. Due to the complexity of each character I didn't know who I wanted like but I do know the one person I didn't like; Risa.....LOL! Not only was this book entertaining, it was educational and I learned quite a lot. Daisy Roberts is the literary truth and I look forward to the sequel and also can't wait to see the movie on the big screen.

Very Good Book...can hardly wait for the sequel. One Saturday, while at the hair salon, sitting underneath the hair dryer, I got so caught up I had to question the setting because it seemed as though the dryer shut off too soon. That's how captivating this book is. I know you'll enjoy it too.

What can I say? This book was a great page turner. It took me about 2 1/2 days to read. I definitely didn't see the end coming; I got so caught up in the story... Each character is unique and will keep the reader's interest. I can't wait until the sequel. Great Job!!!

This was an incredible book. It was recommended by a former co-worker who I had not spoken to in awhile so I really did not know what to expect. I could not put the book down. Author Daisy Roberts took me to the edge when she described the addiction of one of the characters. I was totally shocked but quickly composed myself. It was quite interesting. Each character is unique and will keep the reader's interest. This is an enjoyable book, one that deserves a sequel!

Once you start to read this book, you simply can't put it down. I had to continue reading to find out what would happen next. I went well into the wee hours of the night to finish reading this book. The plot is like no other and this should be made into an HBO film. I hope there will be a sequel. Daisy Roberts did an awesome job!

A Blood Like Yours is definitely a good read. There are elements of intrigue, adventure, education and surprise, coupled with some shocking revelations... It's definitely not your typical predictable plot. You will talk about this book, and look forward to it's sequel!

Miss Daisy Roberts made an explosive foray into the world of racy erotica. Knowing this upfront, I found myself ignoring the slang and swear words to focus on the plot and the character development. A BLOOD LIKE YOURS is definitely a page turner. I expect more from this new author in this genre -- she certainly has the imagination to make her characters and story line get to the next level. By the time I finished reading this novel, I was ever so glad to see Carl get what he deserved and to know that Karra came out relatively unscathed. Sequel pls!!

Karra felt she was living the good life. She has worked her way to the top of her corporations ladder but has made a few enemies along the way. Mainly Evelyn who wants to take her down a few notches- way down. When the rich & powerful Carl becomes her boss, he will stop at nothing to have things his way. Once Karra gives Carl what he wants everything spins out of control for them & those closest to them. Carl's wife & sons feel the effects as well as Karra & her friends. Once Carl feels betrayed by Karra, he too attempts to make her life hell. Once it all hits the fan, lives will be changed forever. Sexual assaults, addictions, & secrets will be revealed. Private investigators, murder-for-hire & near death experiences will leave them all changed forever.
I really did enjoy this book. I gave it 4 stars because thought that it was a little slow as the characters were introduced but once it started rolling, it was hard to put down. I also did not think the Epilogue did the story justice, but overall I would recommend this to others to read. A Great first book by this author. Sleepless in Atlanta because of this book!! While others in my home were sleeping at midnight, I found myself addicted to a book and it was well worth my lost hours of sleep. I had characters to like, characters to hate, characters to fear, and characters that made me exclaim "get out of here". Daisy Roberts has some imagination and that is a wonderful gift for what is sure to be a growing fan base. When you complete the book, be sure to state Carl's final destination enunciating each syllable and it will be a humorous confirmation of his personality. Someone tell Daisy to start on her next book.
