During the evenings and my "free time" I write. Most of my works are paranormal romance or steampunk romance. I answer to one grey and white cat named Molly, and read anything that doesn't read me first. My goal is to someday have a day job for fun, and write for a career, instead of the other way around. Please, don't hesitate to send emails or ask any questions you may have! Enjoy the book!
Although she is on the run as an Outcast, Aria can not help but aid a fellow shifter in need. Aria's good deed leads her to something unexpected her dead mate. Lukas MacLeod has been searching for his wife for the last year and had just about given up hope of finding her when Aria arrives with a member of his pack. As the target of a fanatical shifter Aria is unwilling to put anyone else at risk even for a second chance with her true love. Will Lukas be able to convince Aria that they can be together and still keep the pack safe?
I found this story to be a pleasant surprise. The plot was interesting, well thought out, and just dramatic enough to keep the tension running high. I even enjoyed how everything was wrapped up at the end. The relationship between Aria and Lukas was very special and sweet. They had a very strong bond and I was rooting for them all the way through. There were two things that kept this story from being a 5 for me. First of all, I found a lot of grammar errors in this book. They were well spread out but distressing nonetheless. Also I would like to have seen more into Lukas's perspective. The author provides little glimpses but never a complete shift away from Aria. However, if you prefer your story to be completely from the heroine's viewpoint you won't have my same issue. Overall it was a really good story and I wouldn't mind reading from this author again as long as her work is edited better.

I have to say, I "really" enjoyed this book. There were some parts that had me really going into a fit. (In a good way.)
The way Ellen has the main characters come together, again, is really good. This book keeps you on your toes throughout the whole thing. There is just enough suspense, romance, humor and more, all through the book that it really is a fast paced read. There are some parts that really have you wanting to jump ahead but yet, you don't because you are just too afraid to stop reading where you are in case you miss something important.
I am quite intrigued with Cernunos. I cannot wait to see what Ellen has in store for us in her next book. (OH THERE BETTER BE ANOTHER ONE. LOL)
If you noticed in my review, I didn't really give much away in detail. I did this, (or didn't do this), because to do so would not only give some of the book away, but it would literally take away from the story when you read it. (If you know a couple parts of what is going on, you subconsciously look for those parts, which in turn causes you to not only skip over parts, but it will keep you from really enjoying the story.) So, stop wasting time and get this book. You will NOT be disappointed!!
Ellen is definitely an Author I will be watching out for.
