4.0 out of 5 stars Plausible and Bizarre
Although this is a premier work in the area of fiction for the author, Hal Lindsey did manage to place me on the stage of fear in his novel. The third person style narrative was unexpected and so was the love story interwoven in this period of the greatest world war ever to be known. He did have some insights and I look forward to more of this kind of work

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad reading, average compared to other Christian fiction
I guess I have been spoiled by the Left Behind Series on this subject. I would have appreciated it more had I read it before I did the others. I wouldn't not recommend it, but I didn't go crazy for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best novel I have read in years!, April 14, 1998

Riveting...action-packed...very Scriptural...I fully recommend this blockbuster book for anyone wanting an inside view to future days, as described better only in Scripture!

I was on the edge of my chair the whole time I was reading this book, and in fact, literally could NOT put it down! Encore! More!

4.0 out of 5 stars WOW WHAT A GOOD READ!, January 14, 2000
This review is from: Blood Moon (Hardcover)
I LOVED THIS BOOK. I LIKED THAT IT GOT INTO THE CHARACTERS BUT STAYED TRUE TO GOD'S WORD. I ALSO READ THE LEFT BEHIND SERIES. I LIKED "BLOOD MOON" BETTER. BLOOD MOON, DEALT WITH THE SAME SUBJECT MATTER OF END TIME EVENTS, BUT GOT ON WITH IT IN JUST ONE BOOK. I TELL ALL MY CHRISTIAN FRIENDS ABOUT THIS BOOK. I REALLY FEEL READING THIS BOOK WILL GIVE PEOPLE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF JESUS AND HIS ROLE DURING THE TRIBULATION.

A book that is a great gift even used, everyone loves to read this and understand what really happened with the flood in the Days of Noah.

1.0 out of 5 stars don't waste your time, August 21, 2006
This review is from: Blood Moon (Hardcover)
The first two-thirds of the book were relatively tolerable. Lindsey writes in a simple manner, with a short and simple sentence structure and very few, if any, complicated words. This makes it readable for the less educated and more simple-minded, I suppose. The most difficult reading were the long biblical passages he repeatedly quotes. The last third of the book, he really went off the deep end of religious whackiness. It was so bad, I could barely finish. It's a waste of time for anyone who possesses the ability to think for themselves.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading the flock!, April 21, 1998
This review is from: Blood Moon (Hardcover)
Hal is at it again. This book, as previous books, seem to use "scare tactics". Hal try's to convince the reader to prepare for a "dooms-day" future and gives false hope of a "great escape". This book can do more harm than good to the biblically challenged Christian.

1.0 out of 5 stars Islam, June 5, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Blood Moon (Hardcover)
Hal Lindsay must be careful about putting words into Mohammed's mouth, as well as adding events to his life that did not happen. Lindsay does not admire the Muslim faith very much, but that is no excuse to slander Mohammed like that.
