4.0 out of 5 stars Murder and Mahem, February 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
"Blood Moon," Bryan Cassiday's collection of short stories, is very noir with snappy dialogue and unexpected twists and turns. Killing is the norm whether actual slaughter or mental torment. There is a quick kill in "The Cheshire Cat." In "Dead to Rights" the protagonist works for MachineDeath. It doesn't take a lot of imagination to figure out the company's main objective - "taking care of unpleasant people." The boss tortures by humiliation. That's nothing compared to what happens to the new hire. This series is a brisk, nail-biting read. If you like stories with startling and unexpected happenings, you should like the "Blood Moon" tales.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Publisher, Same Thrilling Book, December 26, 2009
Blood Moon: Thrillers and Tales of Terror In September 2009, Bryan Cassiday self-published his book "Blood Moon: Thrillers and Tales of Terror." That issue has been available on Amazon for several months. Now a new edition of "Blood Moon," this one published by Create Space, is available on Amazon.

It's the same white-knuckle thriller, only with a different cover and publisher. If you like vampire stories, read "I Kill for Your Blood" in "Blood Moon." The director of the CIA learns that one of his field agents is acting like a vampire. The director dispatches another of his agents to investigate and deal with the embarrassing situation.

But not all of these stories are supernatural. Some are gritty realistic noir tales. Be that as it may, they are all thrillers, and, in all cases, the streets will run red with blood.

Be warned. These are tales from the dark side. Serial killers, madmen, vampires, power-mad models, doppelgangers, and hit men populate the pages of this bloody-minded book. If things that go bump in the night turn you on, this is the book for you.
