Okay...well if ya dont Know....DCS is the Two Singers from Project Wyze and a new DJ. Thisnew band is allot different that P Wyze. Instead of rock...with Guitars....their using beats with maybe a little guitars...and if you like that..This is a good cd....Most of the songs are good....and the lyrics are close to the same as where in P Wyze songs...its a cool cd.

Dead Celebrity Status is the new band of Yaz and Bobbie, a canadian duo who did time in a rap-metal band called Project Wyze a few years back. Sort of picking up where their old band left off, "blood Music" is more hip hop flavored then their previous efforts, although i guess yo could call it "heavy hip hop"
Lyrically, the band presents songs about the state of the world, music scene, government and relationship problems. check em out, ya wont be dissapointed.

This group is amazing! The opening sequence is great too, it gives off this creepy vibe of this legend and once that fades, you get the incredible We Fall, We Fall track. Lots of other tracks are just so well done you wonder how in the hell this band is not bigger than they already are. I definetly recommed this if you haven't gotten it or if you like Hip hop and underground.

Great music, flows and everything. So yesterday I went to the Vans Warped Tour with a friend of mine I wanted to see a few bands, but in general most of the bands at the Warped Tour are not that good. I found some good music even though I was not really looking, for an example Dead Celebrity Status. I came across them without knowing who they were and what they were all about. My friend wanted to go see Rise Against who was performing like 15 or so feet away with a huge group of people and I went to see Dead Celebrity Status and let me tell you F**** Rise Against and all those pu*y sh** this music right here has an amazing vibe and it was a great performance with Yassen and Bobby the two of them had some of the greatest flows and some sick rhymes that I have heard in quite awhile. To think I have never heard of them, but they did appear on XXX: State of the Union soundtrack, which people say is a great soundtrack.

Now for the album I just got it yesterday after there set at the Vans Warped Tour and on this record they shine and if I had to choose a favorite song well that is impossible because this is too hard to choose one, and if all read this much love keep it all and stay true. I guarantee sometime soon we will all be hearing of Dead Celebrity Status just like all those other names like 50 Cent (who by the way compared to Dead Celebrity Status has nothing.) Oh yeah Yassen and Bobby the two of you are so kind, thank you for the autographs and I respect you two dearly and when you come back to LA I will be there in the front listening and everything.

NOW WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR GO AND BUY THIS CD, TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Somone else said it the intro track fills your easy with same wierd music that opens perfect up. I have been exploring music that is new to me and takes a lot to give something a 4 or 5 and so far I have liked such new artists 3OH!3, Family Force 5, Hollywood Undead, LMFAO, MSI, and more. I have a broad listening style with great love of Rage, sepultura, slayer, white zombie, daft punk, rotterdam hardcore, mudvayne. prodigy, daft punk, scooter and more. So you can see a very wide variety usually when I like every song on a album I think that many other people can relate as well. I think this is something heavy metal loves, rap lovers, or even industrial lovers could like.

There is so much music out there with no real soul. It is even a stretch to call it music. Here is a little bit of a shock to reality; music that is fresh and alive. It's rap mixed with singing, but not your typical rap with a few dischordant notes playing the whole time. There are some very nice harmonies in this CD, with a very eastern feel to the music. The lyrics are original and full of feeling and emotion, especially 'If These Walls Could Talk', number seven on the CD. A must listen. These guys are on the way up.

this is one of the best written cds ive seen in ages. the two lyricists, yas and bobby, definately know their thoughts and feelings, because someone who doesnt know what theyre talking about wouldnt make music this deep. also, someone who doesnt know what theyre doing would be able to create such an awesome play on words in their songs, such as "in my backyard".
the dj of this group, dj dopey, also cuts it up on his turntables. ive never heard someone so damn good scratching and mixing. 5 time world dmc champion, this man has some talent.
what im getting at is, if you like meaningful and well written lyrics on top of sick beats, this is definately the cd for you.

dead celebrity status is one band, that knows life, knows feeling, knows music. i dont even know how many times ive listened to this cd and related to the words that yas and bobby were saying. number three on the cd, "in this day and age", says so much about the world nowadays. "while you were asleep" is deep rooted resentment for a cheating girlfriend. this band is just a group of wicked guys who know what their talking about. i havent seen them live, but i have seen their dj perform. he is one talented dj, he is. never heard anyone scratch and spin like he does.
all and all, what im getting at is that if you like meaningful lyrics and wicked beats, this is the cd for you.

I just want to say that this cd is truly amazing. Its real. Its life. You can see the way that these guys look at life just by listening to this cd. If you havn't checked it out yot, you should definatly do so as soon as possible! I really don't know how these guys do it! Every song, they can relate to somehow. the cd talks about stuff that happens because of one thing that happened 4 years ago, it talks about how a girl is trying to live up to society, and of course theres a battle of a girl. I don't know what ese to say about these guys! Its an awesome cd and make sure to check it out.

I think dead celeb is one of the best cds i have ever heard. I bought it the first day it came out and man was i excited. Whoever reads this review i think you should go right now and buy this cd because if u don't i seriously think u will regret it. Blood music is a mix between rap and rock and those are the two favorite types of music i like and if you like them too then you will love this cd.
