Blood of the Raven is an awesome read. Gabriel has been watching Fate for years, making sure no harm comes to her. Late one night he's detained and the unthinkable happens, Fate is attacked. But whose done it? Vampir? Human? Dominion? No one knows. Gabriel takes her in: helping her to deal with her new life as a Vampir, but Fate's been burned before so its hard for her to trust again. You'll either be clicking away, or flipping the pages quickly as you read frantically to the end to see who is behind the attack that has changed Fates life forever, and weither or not Gabriel can change her mind about giving her heart away. The conflict is real, the mystery intriging, and the sex scenes hot. The secondary characters were well described with definitive personalities, I can't wait to read their stories. This is the first book I've read in this series, I can't wait to read the rest.

Blood of the Raven is the story of Gabriel Letourneau and Fate Harding. Gabriel is sworn to protect Fate, but after she is attacked and becomes one of the Embraced, he has to take her in and teach her about what she has become. This is a great adventure story and the love scenes between the lead characters fairly scorch the words off the pages. I also met several characters who I hope will soon have their own stories.

This is the first story I've read from Anya Bast, and with such a high standard of story telling, I'll certainly be reading more from her.

Gabriel Letourneau is a hot vamp gardian sworn to protect Fate, his charge. After an violent attact leaves her embraced into his world, he must teach her everthing he know to survive as a fledging vamp but can he protect her from himself. These two burn up the pages. This is definitely a keeper that you will want to read again and again. If this is the first book I can't wait to get my hands on the next in the series.

Blood of the Raven was one of the best books I've read in months, The heroin and the hero of the book were very will done and I loved the hero! he was everything I would want in a hero. I couldn't put the book down and the love scenes were sooooo HOT!!!! Anya Bast is a great Author and she knows how to make a reader never want to put the book down. I'll be reading this book over and over again.This is a MUST read!!!!!!!

If you are a Vampire Fan and Love Anya! I think you should go out and run to get it...!

Gabriel Letourneau guarded Fate Harding during the last 5 years. She is completely unaware that he is her guarding her, but she fells drawn to him. After a brutal attack Fate is embraced into the world of Vampires. As newborn Vampire she needs Gabriel to satisfy her hunger for blood and sex.

This is book is full of wonderful characters and hot & steamy sex scenes. A really fantastic book. Don't forget to read the other two books of the series (Blood of the Rose & Blood of an Angel)

this is one of the best vampire books i have read lately. it has a lot of action that keeps the pages turning. how she got a strong herione and an alpha male to be able to do those sexy scenes without burning the pages. WOW, boy are they hot. this story is well written and the story flows with enough spice to keep you coming back for more. can't wait for the next one. i hope the next one has some of the sparks that Gabriel and Fate have. this is a must get for anyone that loves vampire stories or is an ANYA BAST fan. you go ANYA.

I didn't think The Embraced series could get any better, But Ms. Bast proved me wrong. She had been holding out in Blood of the Rose, which was incredible by itself. Blood of the Raven just upped her standards. Gabriel is strong, sexy and can melt any woman's guard with just the look in his eyes. The fact that he has become a one woman man, he is Fate's alone, makes him all the more irresitible. Fate is no slouch either, she holds her own alongside Gabriel's alpha personality and tendencies. Ms. Bast's cast of vamps had me hooked from the start. I only bide my time, biting my nails, until the next installment is released. Blood of the Raven is for all you vamp lovers, and especially for those who like a little more action than your regular romance. Run, don't walk, to get Blood of the Raven.

I fell in love with Anya Bast's vampires in the first book of this series (Blood of the Rose) and BLOOD OF THE RAVEN is just as thrilling and sexy as the first book, if not more. Gabriel has been a favorite of mine since the first story and I was so excited to finally have his story in my hands. Gabriel is a wonderful hero, all things sexy and alpha, and Fate is the perfect heroine for him. The sparks really fly between them and their scenes together are meltingly hot. The Vampir world that Ms. Bast has created is so intriquing that it's impossible to put these stories down. Ms. Bast is an amazing storyteller and I can't wait to read the next installments in this fabulous series. Full of danger, intrigue, and sexy encounters, BLOOD OF THE RAVEN, and this whole series, is a must read for vampire fans.
