More About the Author

From the critically acclaimed "Blood Splatter", an in depth look at gore in zombie movies, to the Butch G. Cat Journals series of children's books, author Craig W. Chenery has both ends of the literary spectrum well and truly covered.

A lifelong fan of both zombies and The Muppets, his career path should not come as a surprise. He is well versed in both cinematic and literary zombie history.

Craig has written stories for numerous horror and Steampunk anthologies and horror magazines and his first major release, "Blood Splatter: A Guide to Cinematic Zombie Violence, Gore and Special Effects" was released in January 2012 to rave critical and fan reviews. The Butch G. Cat series of journals, co-written with Danny Renfroe, document the titular character's adventures leading up to the events in the upcoming major motion picture. The first two books in the series were released in September 2012 with additional volumes to be released in December 2012 and 2013. Craig is hard at work on his follow up release.

Craig has done voice over work on numerous films and recently finished co-writing the screenplay to The Butch G. Cat Movie, his first feature length film and is expected to start pre-production in 2013. He also performs with "The Gentleman's Club" Comedy Improv troupe who have been nominated for Arizona's Best Comedy or Improv Troupe two years running.

Craig was born in Ipswich, England and now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and daughter. When asked about how he would fare in the zombie apocalypse, he said it's hard to know how long he would last, but there would be a massive amount of blood and gore. He was unclear if he meant zombies or his own.

5.0 out of 5 stars All you EVER needed to know about Zombie Films January 28, 2012
Format:Paperback
Craig Chenery has written the BIBLE of zombie movies.. I can't even imagine how he could have possibly collected all the information he did, but if you're a zombie movie fan, or even a movie fan in general, you HAVE to HAVE this book!!

Mr Chenery watched countless movies and has written statistics on them all.. including the amount of gore, the quality of the gore and zombies.. and then a moment by moment countoff of the gore and blood FX in each film.

It's truly a work of art.. and a work of love... and a masterpiece for zombie enthusiasts!
