Listening to this cd is entertaining from start to finish as all of Joe Blakk material is. His lyrics are tight and it makes you think, it challenges your mind. The tracks on here are real tight too. This cd was definitely ahead of its time. If you've been out there in that world you definitely can relate to it. He don't just give you the same ole things that you hear on every rap album, he come at you from a different angle. The brother is deep. My brother hipped me to Blood Sweat & Tears while he was doing time in the penn and he said it got him through and got his mind right because he saw hisself in a lot of those songs. You can feel what he's saying if you've been there. I rate this album up there with the best of them. His first cd "It Ain't Where Ya From" was definitely a classic and this one will be too. I'm still looking for his "JB's Revenge" tape.

I got this one , but want to find his first CD"It Ain't Where U From" JOE BLAKK can Flow wit Style and it all makes sense, my fav's on this cd is "Boot Up Or Shut Up" plus Blood ,Sweat, tears.HE Talks About Reaality and what goes on with tha krooked kops in New Orleans and real people who were killed in tha metro(east and west bank) area by injust cops. like many people who are from new orleans appreciate real rap that sends a message not just Talk and Bragh..igot this cd and its rare cause there isn't any around (out of print).
