WOW! Going back to old EBM IS GOOD! From first listening I was hooked. During the first few days of owning this album I think I listened to it at least 15 times! Great harsh dancy beats, robotic voices, and machines like you wouldnt belive. Deffinitely check this one out if you're a fan of the whole Ghostly family or even if you're just an industrial fan in general.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kill Memory Crash - When The Blood Turns Black
Kill Memory Crash keeps the spirit of EBM alive with their short EP, WHEN THE BLOOD TURNS BLACK. "Inside the Box" has a dark electro groove to it, like a knife fight between Front Line Assembly and Afrika Bambaataa. "Throw Up Your Mind" is more upbeat, and "Come Alive" returns to the robotic, hard-edged beats and vocodered vocals. The grinding of gears slows for...

3.0 out of 5 stars Kill Memory Crash - When The Blood Turns Black, November 2, 2011
This review is from: When the Blood Turns Black (Audio CD)
Kill Memory Crash keeps the spirit of EBM alive with their short EP, WHEN THE BLOOD TURNS BLACK. "Inside the Box" has a dark electro groove to it, like a knife fight between Front Line Assembly and Afrika Bambaataa. "Throw Up Your Mind" is more upbeat, and "Come Alive" returns to the robotic, hard-edged beats and vocodered vocals. The grinding of gears slows for "SP-Fluid," but "Technasty" comes back with all pistons firing: an aggressive track, filled with hiss and spite. Short, but with the sharpness of a pocket knife.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dark, groovy, and unique, March 25, 2007
This review is from: When the Blood Turns Black (Audio CD)
There's so much going on underneath the infectious beats on this album. OK, I'll confess, 90% of the time I just listen to 'Inside the box' - 6 times in a row or so! I can see that track working it's way into a matrix-style movie soundtrack some day.
