One of the best of the wonderful Marsh Tanner series. So many quotable lines, so early. A drinker's bar, not a bar for drinkers. This was the first of the series that I read, and it drew me in.

A Page-Turner by a Great Mystery Writer,
By Bonnie Brody "Book Lover and Knitter" (Port St. Lucie, FL) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (TOP 100 REVIEWER)
This review is from: Blood Type (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is a page-turning mystery with the same erudite and witty references toartists, writers and culture that make Greenleaf so much fun to read. The charac- ters are well-conceived and there is a good chase scene. The end is a bit of a let- down. Hence, the '4' rather than the '5'.
