Born out of the breakup of Lion, featuring founding members Kal Swan - vocals and Doug Aldrich - guitar along with Ian Mayo - bass and Jackie Ramos - drums, Bad Moon Rising continues where Lion left off. This is the second Bad Moon Rising release which takes off where the first one left us. Blood features the guest rhythm section showing of Wright and Mary once more. The album was delivered in Japan during March with an EP Blood On The Streets issued the following month. BAD MOON RISING returned to Japan in October for a further run of dates, giving a nod to their influences by including BAD COMPANYs Movin On, THIN LIZZYs Cowboy Song and DEEP PURPLEs Highway Star in their live set. BAD MOON RISING rose to superstar status in Japan with a series of finely crafted Hard Rock albums that highlighted the exceptional talents of English born lead vocalist Kal Swan and guitar hot shot DOUG ALDRICH. Both Kal Swan and DOUG ALDRICH are ex-LION, whilst the rhythm team of bassist Ian Mayo and drummer Jackie Ramos had played in both HERICANE ALICE and BANGALORE CHOIR. Prior to relocating from England to Los Angeles Swan had fronted up the NW0BHM Heavy Metal band TYTAN.
