Found a purebred bloodhound female puupy in shelter. Wife fell in love. This provides my wife and I with more than enough information regarding the breed, raising, feeding, etc. Great book - busy, enjoyable times.

This Book was rather generic, the information put out was very broad and could pertain to a Bloodhound or a Coonhound or a mo foin' Pomeranian!! The pictures were the only reason I gave this book any stars at all because the information between these pictures was a big dissapointment. If you really do want good bloodhound information, get "The New Complete Bloodhound",...

This Book was rather generic, the information put out was very broad and could pertain to a Bloodhound or a Coonhound or a mo foin' Pomeranian!! If you really do want good bloodhound information, get "The New Complete Bloodhound", it was written by true BH folks

Good pictures, and good info. Bloodhound books are hard to find, but this one is a good choide for any one interested in bloodhounds.

Although this is a nice book it was not at all what I was looking for. I wanted some indepth pet care like ear care, mouth care, habits etc.
