Quite simply, a must have for any fan of great rock music with a blues feel to it. Bonamassa smokes on this CD, and every other band member is so talented at what they do. The second you hear the opening riff of Stone Cold Hearted, you know that you made a great purchase. It's a shame they only stayed together for one album, they could have been one of rock's greatest. My favorite tracks are Stone Cold Hearted, Cell Block 7, Calling Me Back, but there is truly not a single bad or even decent track. They all smoke, and it's a smokin' album, but that's not suprising since Bonamassa's nickname is smokin' Joe Bonamassa. Just go out and buy the album.

Picked this CD up for a quarter at a USED CD warehouse...by far the best quarter I have ever spent. This is one of my favorite southern rock-blues albums of all time. The only question is this - How do I get more music from this band?

I remember hearing 'Stone Cold Hearted' on a local radio station after a Dj mentioned who was in the band and who their fathers are. I literally ran out and bought this Cd. This disc rocks from start to finish. Not a bad song on this Cd. Check out the tracks 'Calling Me Back,' with Warren Haynes trading licks with Joe Bonamassa, 'Since You're Gone', a southern rock tune with extended ending and outro. Other tracks to definitely listen to are 'Cell Block 7', 'So Far Away', 'Get Off Your Back', and 'Stone Cold Hearted.' Joe Bonamassa, Berry Oakley Jr, Waylon Krieger, Erin Davis and the rest of the band make this Cd a must have for fans of southern rock / blues rock.

After listening to this Cd for the umpteenth time one wonders what the sons of Miles Davis, Robbie Krieger (The Doors), and Berry Oakley (The Allman Brothers Band) could have accomplished with Joe Bonamassa and the rest of the band. Who knows, but they definitely made a good impression with their one and only release.

It was a pleasure to hear Joe Bonamassa in his early years (despite the fact that he is very young), but Bloodline record shows his talent and capacity to take in his hands the weight of the band. The other members are just fine but Joe made the diference. The record was expensive but it's ok¡ It worths¡

The "famous" sons of Berry Oakley, Miles Davis and Robbie Krieger (on no one's best guitarist list), deemed Joe Bonamassa "not cool enough" and kicked him out of the band after this recording. Where are the "famous" sons now? Anyone know? I didn't think so. Where is Joe Bonamassa? Oh, just touring the world and renowned as one of the best guitarists on the planet. This record is a throw-away, except for the guitar playing, so fans of JB will likely want to own it- but everyone else, not so much.

I'm a Joe Bonamassa fanatic. I believe he is hands-down the best guitar player alive right now. I had long chased down a copy of this album, and it's certainly a worth addition to any collection. Even at just 17 years of age, Joe plays with a fire, passion, and precision that few twice his age could even come close. His guitar work on this album is INCENDIARY.

That said, unfortunately the completely mediocre songwriting here doesn't live up to the fantastic musicianship. "Calling You Back" is an exception, and not surprisingly was penned by the great Warren Haynes, not by the band members. The vocals sound forced and over emotive, and the lyrics are, at times, cringe-inducingly cheesy. It's a shame that at this point Joe hadn't yet discovered his singing voice, because he would have been able to put a lot more emotion into the vocals here.

With better songs, these guys could have been huge. As it turned out, the sons of some legendary musicians were all outshined by a virtually unknown 17-year-old guitar plater.

This CD presents the early days of Joe Bonamassa`s way to one of the best blues guitar players today. If you like J.B. now, this CD is a "must have"! Listen to this early tracks with a band of sons of famous band members, such as The Doors, The Allman Brothers Band and Miles Davis. The song material is composed very distinguished and inventive by these young musicians, performed in a way to keep your feet moving with the rhythm.
