Justine (Emma Pierson), an ambitious young police officer, and her brother Mark (Kieran O’Brien) haven't seen their father (Kevin R. McNally) since the former detective was jailed for murder many years earlier. Now newly released from prison and determined to prove his innocence, he becomes the police’s prime suspect when Justine’s mother is found dead. Torn between commitment to her father and loyalty to her job, Justine mounts an investigation to uncover the truth and find the real killer.

And I guess if you are English/ Scottish, then this makes sense to you. But how many American people can imagine some police going in to a drug raid and an unarmed police officer chasing a suspect carrying a 9mm and physically pushing him to the ground- and that being enough to bring the suspect in?

That one scene took the movie down about a star.

The other problem is that the suspense was drawn out a bit too much. Did it really take that long for the characters to reveal their secrets?

It is worth watching once, but not twice. Worth buying secondhand or renting for an evening, but NOT new.
