Those interested in Jung, Dream Work, Past Lives, Individuation -

I've just read Bloodlines of the Soul and have to say that it presents both breakthrough research and genuine inspiration as Dr. Lucas reveals her own process of discovery and individuation. Exploring the possibility that certain dreams could be related to past lives and giving herself permission to follow the unfolding thread of these dreams she discovers uncharted analytical territory. The result is a real page turner.

The first half of the book reads like a mystery novel and details her process of investigating these dreams and then researching the historical record for corroboration. This took several years and travel to different countries. Most importantly though is how through this work she was able to make real breakthroughs in her own psychological process all as a result of integrating the lessons she learned from each of these previous lives, and the unique wisdom they were often able to impart.

In the second half she presents several case studies in which she was able to guide her clients through this same process. This allows the reader to see the unfolding process from the other point of view. These stories are both fascinating and surprising.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Jung, dream work, past lives and the process of individuation.

Readers who are involved in the inner process of expanding their consciousness through dream work will find this book captivating and enlightening.Sabine Lucas shares her own past life dreams as well past life dreams from case studies as a basis to explore the soul's evolution through the process of reincarnation. I found the "connecting threads" of her past lives to be particularly fascinating and thought provoking. This book is highly personal, engaging, and written in an eloquent voice.

I recommend this book to readers with an interest in Jungian psychology, dream work, and spirituality.

It's admirable how the author allows her readers to get close to her. I have read several superficial books on reincarnation in the past, which all dealt with the regression of patients or with karma - or rather the authors' interpretation of it. If only for its candor, this book has a very good chance of ending up on top of the list one day."

I have just finished reading Bloodlines of the Soul and felt I should write a five-star review of it, except C Johnson beat me to it, expressing precisely what I wanted to say.

Aside from insights into her patients and ultimately herself, Dr Lucas helped me understand and contextualize dreams and patterns of dreams I have experienced over the past 60 years.

I entitle my remarks "This is just a beginning" because I believe that as pioneering as Dr Lucas' work is, there is still more to learn, reveal, and uncover.

If Dr. Lucas does not write these books, then I hope that individuals as equally gifted and insightful take up the challenge.

Bloodlines of the Soul is a scientific work of first class. Under the

inspired pen of Dr. Sabine Lucas the data that enters the analysis is her

own, her night dreams. That dreams carry profound wisdom is known to

all those who are close to the Earth, particularly the indigenous people

of all the lands. This notion, in modern times, was noted and critically

developed by Carl Jung. Bloodlines of the Soul continues that tradition.

In the present book, compelled by the overwhelming data,

Dr. Lucas has exercised courage to put forward the profound hypothesis

that the long known notion of re-incarnation finds its support in the

advisory role and information certain class of dreams may carry. This

karmic information, she argues, has a purpose and intent. It helps the

individuation process on the one hand and on the other explains certain

otherwise unexplainable inclinations, phobias, and talents we may carry.

The book is not a self help book but it serves a deep scientific task.

In this task a human has taken her internally generated data, her

night dreams, and weaved out of them a great scientific reality that

underlies the dignity of man, and life. This reality complements the

science behind the explosion of stars, their subsequent evolution into

planets and life forms, and then the evolution of these life forms

through a karmic process.

It is a serious book, and ranks among the very few that are worth

carrying in one's brief case, and sleeping on.
