Format: Perfect Paperback
This book takes off within a few minutes of where the first book leaves off.

In the first book we follow Lexi who lost her soul mate to an accident. She walks around in a fog. Until she goes to Italy with her best friend Leah for a summer school program and meets the love of her life Tyler.

In this book Lexi wakes up in the hospital with bits of her memory about what has happened to her erased from her mind. She learns that her parents are being relocated back to Florida but she does not want to go with them. So they find her some roommates that she can live with until she graduates from high school. Her roommates are all very pale, extremely strong and are very fast. There seems to be something about that she can not remember. If only her memory would come back.

When her memory does come back she finds out she is stuck in a house that she can not leave unless she is supervised. And that Tyler is not with her any longer and she can not feel the bond anymore with him. She spends most of her time in a secret room that she finds in her bathroom. Reading journals.

You do not get to see much of Tyler in this book. As Loren has him away all the time. So you get to see Lexi with her room mates alot.

You will not be disappointed in this book. I was not. I can not wait to see what happens next in the series. I really like where the author is taking it. I was not able to stop reading the book once I put it down. It is upsetting to see Lexi struggle with the choice that she has to make. But I think that she made the right choice. With an open ending I can not wait to see what happens next.

BLOODLUST is the second book in the IMPRINTED SOULS series by Daniele Lanzarotta. It follows the story of Lexi, who lost Matt, her soul mate, in an accident a year before the first book begins.

Just when she has started to move on with her life, Lexi sees a new man, Tyler, in her dreams - and then she meets him while staying in Italy. The first book in the series captures readers' attention with unexpected twists and turns. This new installment picks the story up within hours after the first book's cliffhanger ending.

Lexi wakes up in the hospital without any memory of her relationship with Tyler. When her parents arrange for her to stay with Nicholas, they unwittingly help her reconnect with Matt. Unfortunately, though, staying with Nicholas is not healthy for Lexi, physically or emotionally. Nicholas is immersed in the new world Lexi has entered, and exposure to the vampire community will challenge everything she knows.

As the story progresses, Lexi must make a choice between Matt and Tyler. Which love is the strongest? Can she save both or will she lose them both? Readers who enjoy vampire stories will love this new novel, as well as the first in the series.

Another great book by Daniele! I started this one immediately after finishing Imprinted Souls, the first in the series, in just a few short hours!
And like the first one, in just a few short hours I found my self immersed in the world living along side the characters! I find myself trying to steer them in the directi0n I want them to go, and feeling their emotions! I've already downloaded #3 and am only taking a short break to write reviews and eat before I jump back into the wonderful world!

From the cliff hanger in the first book Imprinted Souls to another. This book keeps you wondering about the intentions of all the characters involved. There is lots of love and revenge to keep you reading till the end. Great book! Ready to start the next in the series Devine Ashes. What will happen to Lexi?

I just love reading vamp books and I like reading books which are part of a series. The book Bloodlust has meet both of my needs and it's a good book and enjoyable to read. I am reading book 2 at this time in the series. I'll let you know soon if it's worth buying all of the books in the series.
