This cd has it all. Metal, strong lyrics, a singer whose screams are the best I've heard so far, ie. THE cd of 1997. If you're a hardcore fan go buy this cd. No matter what everybody else says, buy it.

I first caught wind of One King Down when I was in college, and went to a hardcore show at a local frat house. They were replacing a local band, 607, and boy did they do the job! I went out and bought Bloodlust Revenge. While at first, I was not used to the screaming at first(I had still affiliated most screaming with bad death metal), the riffs were there, and I remembered how Rob & the rest of the band tore it up. Intense. Where did today's metalcore grow out of? Bands like One King Down is your answer. Buy this album!

There guitarist is unbelieveable.I love the drummers double-kick and how they singer just yells!i love it!the guitar is so good.

This album is one of my favorites it still gets the days of the cd player. Awesome lyrics and screams with some of the best beats and riffs. The bands energy is unbelievable especially now that Rob Fusco has come back, I am seeing this band tonight and I know it will be absolutely powerful and CRAZY.

i'd just have to say this might be the best hardcore album out there. much better than their new piece of garbage God Loves Man Kills. Now that Rob is back I hope they can go back to making good music again.

This is the best cd I've ever heard. Very good sXe hardcore sound to it, and a strong message. This album has everything, if only it had more songs

This CD was one of my first introductions to Vegan Straightedge. It is an awesome piece of work. It hit a chord in me even all the way here in Cali! The lyrics are so powerful and thought-provoking. I was especially impressed by the raw, unbridled energy of this band. You'll notice it from the opening track all the way to the very end. It may have only six tracks, but it plays like a full-length album. That's how good it is! Their sincerity really shows through, as well. I spent many a night jumping around in my bedroom to that "More Hate Than Fear" song. It's a great CD to do that with! I'm sorry these guys broke up. They could have put out some seriously mind-blowing tracks, but I guess it was all for the best, eh? I wish them all the best! --Kelly Magovern

Wow......havent heard this in a LONG time......as in since it first came out. Im an old HC fan from the QE2 days and this is where i first saw OKD. Although im not sXe, I still thought the band rocked and this CD was killer. I say buy it or be brutalized.

One King Down may have been on Equal Vision Records, but in the hardcore world, there is no other album that is Equal to Bloodlust Revenge. Nothing equals its musicianship, its perfectly recorded sound, or its vocalist's abilities. No hardcore band compares to One King Down. Their perfection in musical arrangement is unique and unrivaled and will remain so for a long time. If you are a hardcore fan and do not have this album, you have been wasting the last 6 years of your life.
