This review is from: Bloodquest Book 1 (Warhammer 40,000) (Paperback)
This is an ok collection of comics for Warhammer 40k. If you don't play the game, or read many of the other books in this catagory, than it should be good for you. It has a great story line and it seems to flow well. If you are an avid enthusiest, than you'll be scratching your head, yelling corrections at the book, or reaching for your bolter to despense the Emporer's mercy to it. This is before you take into account the art's quality.
The story deals with a group of Blood Angels that have been exile for losing a holy relic during a battle. They are sent on their way with one of the chapter's light cruisers. But, it is unrealistic. I doubt that the chapter would give them a ship equipt with a transporter system. No less on that is capable of "site-to-site" transport. There are even more inconstencies that seem to leap off the pages at you.
But, if you can get through all of this, then you'll be able to enjoy the story for what it is.
