4.0 out of 5 stars Works better with Leopard
I've found that with Tiger, on an Intel Mac, this game runs quite slow, and requires the lowest graphics settings. With Leopard, however, the Rosetta emulation software was updated, and it runs a lot faster. I now have it at the full graphics settings, and it runs very smoothly on my MacBook.

3.0 out of 5 stars A little too little, a little too late
I was very intrigued by this storyline and must admit I have a thing for vampire stories. However, I wish I'd done some more research on this title before I bought it - I have limited time and limted $ for my gaming hobby. I was very intrigued by this storyline and must admit I have a thing for vampire stories. However, I wish I'd done some more research on this title before I bought it - I have limited time and limted $ for my gaming hobby. Due to the old graphics engine used, the graphics are limited to 640x480 period dot. On the new flat panel screens with high resolutions, this makes everything look very choppy/blocky/pixelated. The sound is also a problem -- sometimes dialog is very soft and other times it jumps out rather loud for no reason other than its changing person (no scene specific reason). Further there is some distortion effect to the sound like it was recorded at too high an input level. Lastly, the default controls for the keyboard are not very helpful. In the last year I've played Return to Castle Wolfenstein, No One Lives Forever and Warcraft III. After playing those, especially NOLF, this game really dissapoints. I should've saved my money for NOLF 2 or Neverwinter Nights.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great game but not on the MAC, June 21, 2003

It's really too bad - my system meets all the requirements - but the game runs horrible on the mac. Really choppy and what not. The demo for the PC runs flawless though - I don't reccomend this for the mac at all - unless they fix it. - which they say on their site that they wont.

3.0 out of 5 stars Intriguing concept, but it doesn't follow through, July 28, 2004
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars

I have to agree with the other reviewers. It's blocky in appearance, clunky in movement, and very inconsistent. Too bad, it was a great idea.
