5.0 out of 5 stars Great plot, December 4, 2011

(REAL NAME)
Blood sword (I've read the italian version) is the best game book series I've happen to play. It can be played with up to four players or alone (when playing alone you can choose to be one character or to impersonate two to four!). There are five books in this series, all of them have great plots with multiple possible success paths each. Krarth is smallest book in the series (3 and 5 are very thick books!) but it is quite difficult to solve and the enemies are multiple and powerful. Won't be easy to beat! Combat rules are well done and multiple spells are available, though one can also pick a character that relay only on sword or on smartness. The descriptions, the scenery and the characters make this a good adventure, not just a good fight. The plot started in this first book is continued in the others (they are still very playable individually) with some recurring characters, but each book has a very distinct atmosphere and location for a never repeating adventure.
