This review is from: Bloody Monday: Fibroid Tumors My Ordeal (Paperback)
Ms. Alexander tells how she tried to live with the disabiling symptoms of fibroids. It is merely an account of her diagnosis, bleeding episodes, efforts from the medical community and her decision to basically try a holistic approach. It is more of a rambling. I really do not understand how she got the decision to go the holistic way. She really does not explore all her options or provide a good reasoning as to her decision. I would prefer her personal account intertwined in some medical information about her options and the risks of same. For a woman trying to live with fibroids and decide what to do, it really provides me with no further guidance or understanding. Not worth the cost of the book ( full price) For $2 it is ok.

This book is very touching. It tells a true story of what many women are going through with fibroid tumors. I cried and I laughed when I read through the pages of this book. I highly recommend this book for both men and women to read.
