5.0 out of 5 stars SmoothJazz.com Review
Yes, oh yes! We've got a winner here, my friend. Horn diva Cindy Bradley is incredibly stunning on her debut Trippin' `N' Rhythm release BLOOM. She will be a Smooth Jazz star, guaranteed. Combine Cindy's talent (and her good looks don't hurt a bit either!) with producer/composer/keyboardist Michael B, and you've got one of the hottest album releases so far this year. The...

3.0 out of 5 stars pretty good
Cindy Bradford's Bloom is a little bland I think for my taste. She has a great tone and styling but I just thought the song selction was a little bland..

5.0 out of 5 stars SmoothJazz.com Review, June 24, 2009

Yes, oh yes! We've got a winner here, my friend. Horn diva Cindy Bradley is incredibly stunning on her debut Trippin' `N' Rhythm release BLOOM. She will be a Smooth Jazz star, guaranteed. Combine Cindy's talent (and her good looks don't hurt a bit either!) with producer/composer/keyboardist Michael B, and you've got one of the hottest album releases so far this year. The ten compelling originals feature Ms. Bradley's beautifully pure tone on both trumpet and flugelhorn, together with a host of awesome guests, including many from the Phoenix music scene (names like Marion Meadows, Jay Soto, Dominic Amato, Freddie Fox, Jaared, and Tim Bowman). The first single, the title track, is already tearing it up on the charts. Here's the deal: If you love Rick Braun and Chris Botti, there's no question in my mind whatsoever that you will be absolutely wild about Cindy Bradley. Yes, she's that good! ~SCOTT O'BRIEN

4.0 out of 5 stars Introducing a female Mangione, March 23, 2010

This review is from: Bloom (Dig) (Audio CD)
Cindy Bradley's new album "Bloom" may remind listeners of such trumpet and flugelhorn greats as Chuck Mangione, Chris Botti, and Rick Braun. The Mangione influence is evident on tracks where she plays flugelhorn, such as the title track. The track "Sycamore Soul" can't be beat. Overall, Bradley shows the soul and passion expected from a smooth jazz artist. Cindy may very well find her place among such smooth jazz women as Mindi Abair and Joyce Cooling. It loks as if the brass of Bradley seeme to be "in bloom".

Cindy Bradley's CD is magnificant! First time in a while that such a female artist has sounded so refreshingly different! Her music is a must for any Smooth Jazz fan. Certainly have recommended her CD to my friends. GREAT CD!!!

IN THE TERMS OF SOMEONE WHO JUST LISTENS TO GOOD MUSIC THIS IS A MUST HAVE CD. I AM ALREADY LOOKING FOWARD TO HER NEXT CD. FOR ME UPTONW DRIVE,TAKE ME THERE,CURVES AHEAD AND SYCAMORE SOUL ARE THE STAND OUT CUTS. THIS IS NOT TO SAY THE BALANCE OF THE CD IS AS GOOD BUT WHEN RIDING HOME AND THE WEATHER IS FAVAROBLE THESE CUTS JUST RESONATE ABOVE THE REST. I HAVE SUGGESTED THIS TO SEVERAL PEOPLE AND ALL AGREE THIS IS A GREAT CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cindy Bradley - Bloom, January 1, 2012

I first heard Cindy Bradley while having dinner at our neighbors' home. I didn't know Ms. Bradley was from WNY (our home area) and that our host was a teacher of hers years ago. I was blown away by her talent. I purchased two of her CDs and plan on buying more in the future. She's a very talented young woman. Give her a listen, you'll be hooked.

I just received the CD yesterday. Ms. Bradley is by all accounts, a smooth jazz star in the making. All of the cuts are excellent, but Catch The Wind was one that caught my fancy, but the title track,Sycamore Soul,The fantastic steppers beat of Uptown Drive,Take Me There,or Before I Go could all be top 10 singles .I think that I read a earlier review in which the reviewer stated that Ms. Bradley belongs in the same category as Joyce Cooling & Mindi Abair. I think that that is the perfect point to say a hearty AMEN,for it would be difficult to find two better examples of musicianship for her to follow. This CD is a winner!!

Wonderful! A great helping of smooth jazz trumpet with a zesty splash of funk. I can't wait for her sophomore CD! Five stars and more!

Oh Yeh ! I like it when a great artist allows the other performers in the group to shine along with them , I feel she does not "hog the spot light" and these tracks reveal not just her greatness , but allow the participants to express their talents too .
