I absolutely can't stand plastic brightly colored baby gear. I have tried very hard to find stylish yet practical ways around this! I read many great reviews on the Bloom Coco baby lounger and decided it was the best one for us. I liked the design, the natural "bounce" and movement it gave, and the fact it does not run on batteries. plastic and batteries freak me out just bit around my baby. Having a baby before, I know that the babies rarely play with the annoying junk they dangle from the tops of most conventional loungers/bouncers. At least, that was the case with my son. Babies who are not constantly bombarded with bright plastic things in their face I think are left to look more at their surroundings and observe. I think it could help with creative thinking. But that is just my opinion.
It is so easy to clean, which I love. The only slightly negitive thing I would have to say is you have to really make sure the seat pad is buttoned tight to the frame. When I first put it together I noticed I didn't press hard enough down on the buttons. Make sure you hear all of them click!
