This volume comes as an important addition to the extensive scholarship on the Bloomsbury Group. For the first time all of the woodcuts, lithographs, etchings, and other prints created by Vanessa Bell, Dora Carrington, Roger Fry, and Duncan Grant are catalogued, with numerous color and black-and-white reproductions.
In addition, the many book jackets produced by the group are included. Consequently all the multiples created by the Bloomsbury artists are listed. The book also contains a section devoted to ephemera, which details trade cards, invitations, catalogue covers, and bookplates devised by these wide-ranging artists.
Carefully catalogued, and with almost all the entries illustrated (a number to the original size), this book provides a treasure trove for all those with a keen interest in the art and literature of the Bloomsbury Group.
