Im very happy with my purchase. This is a big ball of live worms with very little filler soil. You are getting tons of worms in this package and they are all very feisty and alive. In fact, they drilled holes in the fabric container and a few ended up within the cardboard box. If you leave this box unopened on your kitchen table prepare to find a few worms in your carpet! I split them all up and put them in various parts of the yard. happy composting!

The worms arrived very fast, very healthy and they even
included extra worm composting material and great information on
worm farming. They also emailed me personally to be sure that I received the product and that I was happy. I will definitely order from this company again!

Seller informed me of the extreme heat..transporting worms can't be easy.
I live in florida where I am well aware of extreme heat..Seller promised to make it right if there is a problem.
Can't ask for more than that.

I first received a batch of these worms a few weeks ago. I didn't think there were 200 worms, so I left a neutral review. The seller contacted me right away and gently assured me there were over 200 worms but wouldn't settle until I was happy. So, he sent another batch of worms even after I told him not to worry about it. He is honest, cares about his product and has integrity. I am more than happy and very pleased with how he handles his business!!!! If and when I need worms in the future, I will definitely, 100% use this seller again!!!! Also, the worms came packaged extremely well. They have settled into my composting bin very well and I am completely happy with this purchase!!!!!!!!

Thank you for reading. Please do yourself a favor and do not order red worms from or fulfilled by Uncle Jim's Worm Farm ([...]). I just received this item, I've had my worms for three days now and they have red mites. I also ordered from Uncle Jim's about three years ago and also received red mites with my red worms. Then being a novice worm keeper I didn't know that red mites were bad. I thought I had gotten mites from something I fed them. I see this was not the case with this being my second time ordering from Uncle Jim's within 3 years and having both orders arrive with red mites. Red mites are NOT GOOD for your worms (or your house if you keep worms in doors). When I saw my red mite population starting to grow and started to leave the worm box I spoke with NJAES in Middlesex County, NJ and they informed me red mites are not good. If you keep worms indoors the red mites don't stay in the box like the worms do. I was told by NJAES they there are mites you do not want in your house. What I've learned over the course of a year tolerating red mites is that they are extremely had to get rid of. I tried washing my worms but they came back. If you stop feeding your worms the mites with eventually start to feed on the worms. Uncle Jim's Worm farm must be loaded with mites. If I could give them a negative star rating I would. Thank you for reading.

The worms I received were very healthy. It is my first time buying worms here, but if they move quick and are wriggling in the a small amount of light they are supposed to be healthy. I couldn't keep my hands on these little ones.

The worms arrive very fast, the worms were tiny, which means they have lots of room to grow and a big apetite. Great service.
