My 4 year old son came home from school excitedly sharing all the details of this book having heard it in story time that day.His very best friend had gone away for a month this summer for vacation and it was especially hard for him. The month felt like forever to him. Although we discussed it during that time, This book addressed this issue for him in a special way and his emotions about missing his friend really came to the surface and he learned how to deal with them...THANK YOU to the writers of this book!!

A lovely tale of best friends who are seperated come winter because one - a bear - must hibernate. The other missed her friend terribly until she remembers all the fun things they had done together. Before she knows it, spring has returned, and they are reunited. Wonderful story!
