If you truly want to be a better fellatrix then buy this book. It will require you to do some work, more precisely, some oral exercises. Being an RN I was able to do the exercises w/o much question, but I think more diagrams are needed for those who do not know anatomy well. I must admit, I learned some very interesting things besides how to give good oral sex. I never knew my tongue had a specific resting place in my mouth or that it was slightly out of shape! I am doing most of the exercises, & there are a lot. Therein lies the problem....not enough time. But, like I said, if you like the power associated with being the best he's ever had, or love giving your partner this totally unselfish pleasure, then buy it. I guarantee you will learn more than just oral sex techniques.

Let's just say, I suck at sucking. I have had several issues ranging from not being able to breathe to lockjaw, and never knew how to fix them. Also, I thought all you needed to do was suck and that was it. The other books I've read just go into how to do things, not how to get your jaw, tongue, and throat into shape so that the act can be performed correctly. It addresses main issues women have with the BJ, and has exercises so that you can get past the physical and emotional issues, and get your mouth into physical shape so that lockjaw, gagging, cramps aren't issues. I highly recommend this book for women who generally dislike BJ's but want to do them more. :)

First off, it is written by a Speach Pathologist not some former Porn Star/Madam/Hooker, etc. Yes I'm a Guy, but my thought was I might learn how to Answer the question all guys get from our Most generous Lady Friends "Is there something else I could Do ? do Different ? etc" and we never seem to have much of an answer. I knew a lady who was VERY ... "Talented" and just ASKED her HOW did she learn that and this book was her answer, so I got it to see if I could learn to answer that question when asked. If you are a guy ? NO it does not work like that it is MUCH More involved than that, but it DOES WORK. I have PERSONALLY given or reccomended this book to no less than 6 other women so far EACH of which has Cum back and Thanked me ENDLESSLY for the advice. (I have Even received 3 Thank Yous from Boyfriends of some of those ladies) The Book kind of starts out slow for those who might have "Issues" even performing Oral Sex on a man and getting over the Mental Hurdals of "Going Down" If you have no such "Issues" skip ahead to the Exercises and if you consider yourself "GOOD" take the test at the end of the first section. You probably will pass and can jump ahead to the Intermedieate exercises (Which you Should NOT Skip) and SHOULD Practice as instructed, but you CAN then Jump ahead to the first section on Techniques and start using some of these skills. You will find your tongue getting sore or other mouth parts getting tired, but that just means to keep working on the exercises and that goes away as you will get Measurably better each time (Trust me) Your Mate will Appreciate your Efforts and you will enjoy the control and power it gives you as well. BTW, she also wrote a companion Book for Men on How to "Go Down" on a woman which is Equally Excellent and frankly ladies, if YOU are doing THIS for your MAN ??? let him enjoy a bit of the results, then present him with the other book and tell him it is time to "Step up to the bar" YOU will be VERY Glad You Did. ENJOY Yourselves.

This book talks about getting over "ick" factors (mental hurdles) as well as physical ones (exercises for the neck, mouth, jaw, and tounge and how to keep breathing). I highly recommend this even for people who think they might know it all but have some troubles with cramping of the mouth or jaw (like I used to haha).

Great book! I'd recommend this book above all others on this subject, simply because it actually gives you lip, tongue, and jaw exercises to do that will help you be able to perform the movements orally that will "blow him away"!

Since this was written by a speech pathologist, she KNOWS what she's "talking" about... And it's not a dry and boring read - there's plenty of down-to-earth humor sprinkled throughout.

Great book - will lend confidence to any woman who wants to please her man but isn't quite sure how to do it or if she's doing it... After all, men aren't usually incredibly communicative... :)

first a little background on how i came to order this book...

my wife and i have been married for 20 years. i believe we have an excellent marriage (my wife would agree, most days) and a very good "love life".

however, since i have more of an interest in the, shall we say, "physical element" of our relationship, than my wife, i have recently begun buying books on this subject with the goal of improving what is, to my mind, already good.

my wife has been gracious enough to read these books, and we have been utilizing some of what we have learned.

these are all good/excellent books, which i enjoyed to varying degrees, each one with a different focus or perspective. all of these books stress the importance of a healthy marriage relationship as the foundation upon which enjoyable sexual intimacy is built.

after that, we moved on to what i refer to as the "technique" books -

that's the framework from which i write this review.

i certainly enjoyed parts of the book, and there was some helpful information. however, overall, i was disappointed.

the first half of the book, the author explains her background as a speech therapist and how that gives her special insight into the topic of oral sex (a reasonable point) and then gives instructions for a number of exercises to perform, presumably to strengthen toungue and lips for "show time".

my wife was not at all interested in doing the exercises, and i can't say i blame her. maybe we are missing out on the main benefit of reading this book by not doing the exercises.

there are really only 2 chapters in this book that were of interest to me - the "techniques" of oral sex. much of this was information with which i was already familiar.

a couple of the techniques described didn't work "as advertised". for example, there is a technique which the author claims will bring a man to orgasm in 30 seconds, for those times when a "quickie" is called for. that was not our experience. at all.

the drawings were "tastefully" done, but again, not much "new" to us.

overall, the book has good, basic information relating to oral sex for "beginners". however, more experienced couples, while possibly picking up a new idea or two, will find most of this book to be a review of what they already know.

This is a whole new take on the sex manual. It's not a list of the same, boring suggestions you'd find in Cosmo. Instead, it suggests mouth, lip, and tongue exercises to increase your ability and stamina. It makes for a fun way to learn a new exercise routine.

Everything you wanted to know but didn't know who or how to ask is answered in this book. Filled with hints and tips, you can't go wrong if you read the book and practice, practice, practice!!!

i only gave this three stars because it wasnt anything really new. it gives some good positions to try, but most of them are commonly known. they just gave them cool names to make them seem better i guess. now if you are new to this area of sex, then it is a good book with step by step guidance and pictures (though not very good ones!) my husband and i are still going to try the "low down on going down" book, but my hopes are not as high as they were when i ordered this one.

Too much repetition. Too much extemporaneous information. Too many bad puns. Too much gratuitous foul language. This book is 90% filler. BUT the 10% that was instructional was comprehensive, well organized, easy to read, up-beat, encouraging, and highly informative. I recommend this book (with the above misgivings) as "the best book I've been able to find" for everyone who asks me "How to" questions about oral sex.
