A Return To Yesteryear!, June 18, 2002

Doug James, who plays baritone sax in the band Roomful of Blues, joins with former band mates, guitarist Duke Robillard, vocalist/harp player Sugar Ray Norcia and tenor sax man "Sax" Gordon Beadle, for his first solo CD. The songs are mostly instrumentals, six of ten, and lean heavily toward a Big Band, 50's era swing type blues. All of the musicians are in top form and the result is an outstanding, Dizzy Gillespie style, release.
