Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter" will haunt you and draw you into its beauty. Its words are simple yet incredibly powerful and will cut through to the very heart of the listener. It is the perfect companion to an equally haunting movie "Closer" in which this song is featured. Once heard, it cannot be forgotten.

As far as this single goes, I love the haunting atmospheric sound of Rice's voice on each sentence. Fits into the movie Closer perfectly

I don't know how to emphisize how much I love this song. It's the most hauntingly beautiful track released in 2005, and it introduced Damian Rice to the world (thanks to the fact that it's included in the movie 'Closer' which is also beautiful and haunting at the same time). The extra track, Rice's take on 'Silent Night' is also breathtaking. Rice has a unique and touched voice, one that reals you in with each breathy word. He's going places, and this ('Blowers Daughter') is the song that will take him there!
