Bottom line do not buy this product.

I store it in my car's trunk with my safety stuff but it only provides enough light to maybe find something in the glove box.
Christopher M. Gertiser
Tried and tried to charge it and it would never hold a charge to work.

I should really give it zero stars, but since the vendor I bought it from really made a great effort to resolve my issues I gave it one star. The fundamental problem is that the integrated circuit on the inside of the flashlight dies after a few uses. I know this because my father has been an Electronic Design Engineer for well over four decades and continues to tinker for the past 20 years after his retirement. We bought a new chip and he replaced it and it died just like the other two did in the two flash lights I had purchased.

This has got to be the worst flashlight I have ever bought. First after shakeing it for 10min (it dosen't even tell you how long you need to shake it) nothing. The only time it would light up is when I was shakeing it with the switch turned on, how useless is that. So I shook it harder and it came flying apart, so much for construction and durablity. Bottom line do not buy this product.

This item is ok. Takes tons of shaking to get lasting light. Also when I opened one and went to shake it to charge it the flashlight came apart and now does notnwork.

Received as gift, shake mechanism is not connected. Would not light after many shakes. Took it apart and the switch does not even appear to be connected.

Perhaps I just got a dud, but when I tried to use it I had to shake it hard about 100 times before it would light up. After I finally got it to do so, it would only blink and I had to keep shaking it to get it to stay on, hardly what I would call illuminating. However, I contacted the seller and they said it was defective, promptly issuing a refund. Perhaps you will have better luck.

Yes, it lights up after being shaken. However, it seems to go out very quickly. I'm not sure how long it needs to be shaken but five minutes only provided about two minutes of light.
