I had never heard of "BluTrack" a couple of months ago, but when my soon to be 4yo son informed me he wanted a "race car party", I started researching the best tracks out there to race Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars on. I fully expected to buy a run-of-the mill Hot Wheels track at Toys R Us, but when I asked some veteran moms about their top picks, they pointed me towards BluTrack instead. It seemed like a lot of money to drop on a pretty simplistic looking toy, but I have to say, it has been a huge hit with both my kid & my hubby. Like the previous poster, it was a little "bumpy" coming out of the box, but we had no problem softening it up. It worked fine as is in the house, but when I moved it outside for the big race car party, the sun warmed it up and it got plenty smooth.

At our party, the track was a hit again with both the kids & their dads. I foresee getting a lot of use out of it, especially as my son gets older and can come up with different configurations on his own.

As far as the actual track is concerned, I love it. Me and my 2.5yo have had quite a bit of fun creating loops, hills, and tunnels (out of legos).

You basically get a single 18' long track made of durable plastic. It ingeniously comes with a suction cup that I have hung about 48" off the ground to provide the potential energy that allows the cars to negotiate the course. I think it also comes with some velcro to fasten the track in place to the ground, but I did not find this necessary.

I was going to give this 3 stars, but I have had too much fun with it.

The reason I have a problem with this track is the price. Luckily I had a $25 gift certificate that brought my price down to around $16 with shipping. This, and probably no track, is worth $35. I think a more suitable price would be $20 at most. Its just a piece of plastic. Unfortunately, I looked around and could not find any better/cheaper alternatives other than "used" at ebay.

This is such a fun toy! We got this for my three year old for Christmas, and he and his daddy have had so much fun setting it up in different arrangements, from across the living room, to down the stairs! Loads of fun. It's very durable, but easy to lay out, and the cars race down it with almost no resistance. It works great!

Santa brought this track to my girls, 3 and 5 years old. They both love it. They work together to try different designs, have races down the stairs and giggle every time their car makes a loop. The entire family has tried it out and we can't say enough good things about it. I do love the "green"packaging, but I would love it even more if the track was made out of recycled plastic. Come on BluTrack, make a GREEN one!

We got this for our three-year-old son, so I'm not sure how much of the educational value we've tapped into yet, but we sure have had a lot of fun with it! We love the flexibility of the track and the endless options for crafting routes - hills, loops, you name it. It's also nice and easy to clean up - we just roll it up and put it away. We also like that it has two lanes - we have a lot of fun racing different cars.

We purchased this for our 3 yo grandson, who is car-crazy, after reading the many positive reviews. It is a no frills product and somewhat difficult to use. It is just a rolled up two laned track that is fastened, in our case, to the window with a sturdy suction cup. I can only imagine how difficult it might be to unroll in cold weather, as it never completely uncurls in our temperate climate. Our grandson does enjoy shooting his hotwheels down the incline, but any loops have been disappointing. For half the price, I would be very happy, but over $50 for this seems way overpriced.

My 3yr & 5yr old sons have not stopped playing with this since christmas (2011), especially my 3yr old, he thinks this is the best toy ever! What they love most is that each track is wide enough to race almost any car or train they have. Their favorite course so far, is to suction to a window for a high ramp then use chairs, books, anything they find to make a bumpy fast race. My favorite is the compact clean-up, you just roll it up and that's it, super easy. The sticky Command Strips hooks work very well on the walls too. This is a must have for anyone, any age who likes to play or race with cars, trucks, or trains. They can't wait to play with it outside when the weather warms up.

I have a seven year old boy who has always been a builder, and he just received this toy for Christmas. I was nervous about the material quality after reading other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. It is a thick, flexible plastic material of much higher quality than I expected. We live in Wisconsin, and the cold does not seem to have an effect on the bumpiness of the track. As for the difficulty mentioned in other reviews of making loops that don't wiggle, that is the part of it that makes it appealing to my son. He loves to spend hours problem solving and using his arsenal of wooden blocks and other toys, our furniture, and anything else he can think of to make his ideas work. This is why I gave 5 stars for educational value. I knew he would like it, or I wouldn't have ordered it for him, but I am more pleased with it than I expected to be. I plan on ordering the 24 foot track at some point. In a nutshell, if your child likes to build and problem solve, this piece is a unique and interesting addition to their toy collection.

The kids, 3 and 5, have played with this more often and longer than the hot wheels track my son received on the same day.

This has provided endless hours of fun for all of my kids ages 2 - 9. I love that they can move the track from all different surfaces in the house and even outside. I bought 20 cars and they have climbed up and down the stairs retrieving them which is so much better then watching TV or playing video games!
