Biography

Kalapana was formed by Mackey Feary Jr., Malani Bilyeu, D.J. Pratt & Kirk Thompson. The band's first album, "Kalapana" was a smash hit. They followed with "Kalapana 2." Although, the original band didn't stay together long, fans all over the world, continue to enjoy their music, to this day.

This cd has to be one of the greatest kalapana cd out there. The new singer Maurice Bega is an awesome replacement for macky Feary and the band plays so well. I live in hawaii so it came out here first, I was very anxious to hear it because i've been waiting ten years for this cd and now I have it. If you like jazzy beats kicked in with a little hawaii in it then kalapana is your band! These guys went through some very harsh times they no alot about the music industry and trust me youll love there new album.
