Wow!
This is an excellent video showing off the Blue's precision and speed. the sound is most impressive being that it is VHS. The sound does not have dolby, but you don't really miss it. I do not have the DVD, but thie VHS is really great. Travolta does a great job introducing the Blue's. This is a must for Blue Angel fans and fans of flight.

Reasonable video but poor audio
Provides a good history of the Blue Angels but was made before Dolby Digital. There is no 5.1 or surround so don't expect to show off your system with this one.

I'm sorry to say it, but when I first saw the comments here, I thought it was going to be a wonderful video. When I saw it myself, I found it awful. Most of the time they show only old Blue Angels' planes. I thought they were gonna show some demonstration or something like this. Frustrating.

This is a motivating video narrated by John Travolta with great background music. The Video introduces you to the founder of the Blue Angels and describes how the team originated. The film takes you through 50 years of precision flying and describes in detail how the team prepares for each demonstration. Beautiful photography. Excellent!!

This is a great video/DVD to suppliment other action Blue Angels video. There is less emphasis on current flying stunts, and more on the background and history from 1946 on. If you want more current action, try something else. BUt this will give you an appreciation for the background of these great flyers.

Revealing the Blue Angels,

I can only say that finally a video told me the story of the Blue Angels in a way that was as visually satisfying as it was revealing. The brave people that fly these planes became real. The editing and visuals were stunning. I loved it.
