Stacy Eaton is a police officer by profession. Currently, she is working as the department investigator and enjoys digging into cases and putting the pieces of the puzzles together.
Stacy resides in southeastern Pennsylvania and is the wife to a police officer and the mother of two. She is very proud of her son who is currently serving in the United States Navy and equally proud of her nine year old daughter who works hard in her Tae Kwon Do studies.

Her current projects include finishing up edits for Liveon, a contemporary romance set to release late 2013. Second Shield a romance and crime novel that should be released by January 2014. She is also working on Book 3 of the My Blood Runs Blue series, Mixing the Blue Blood and 4 other projects.
I read the first in a near straight-shot and couldn't wait to get into the second. I read the entire book on my android and loved it. It picks up just a few months after the end of the first in the series and brings a whole new story to the table. Highly recommend for those who enjoyed the first book in the series!
Great Book!! Although I have never been interested in Vampires - the way Stacy Eaton builds her characters changes my perspective. Wonderful plot, interesting story line, lots of surprises. I am looking forward to what secrets will unfold in the next one.
This book was easy reading. It shows how God has a plan for everyone, and in His time. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a book that definitely keeps your interest. I didn't want this book to end.
The second book in the "My Blood Runs Blue Series" by Stacy Eaton picks up right after the first book ends. The book is again action packed as we see more of Kristen, Julian and Alexander. Kristen is still a fiercely independent, strong woman who wants to continue to be a cop and kick some butt, while Alex and Julian still want to protect her, to keep her safe. It seems neither of them knows her as well as she'd like. Enter Trent, the newest edition to the story. I found Trent to be an extremely well written character. He interacts quite well with Kristen and I love the new story line there. I won't say any more as I don't want to give away any of the plot, with all its twists and turns. There are many surprises in this book that I didn't see coming. It was great to see Gabe again (he's the brother everyone wants!) and to meet Livy, Izzy and Kat (Kristen's best friends). The addition of the powerful friendships brings even more depth to the story. This book is again written from multiple points of view and I reiterate my opinion that this only makes the story feel more real. Being able to see more than one side of the story, to experience the feelings of those involved helps you to get an even better grasp of what's going on. You do get a bit of background at the beginning of this book. It is not so much as to give you information overload, but enough to know who is who and what is what. The introduction of Burke, a very homicidal vampire, brings more drama and plot twists. Stacy once again lends her occupational expertise to the story, bringing that professionalism into her story and making it realistic. This was a very exciting read with plenty of intrigue, action and passion. Hold on to the reins because you are in for a heck of a ride! I can't wait to read book 3!
Very good! There are three main characters in this story, Kristin, Julian, and Alexander. Each chapter is from their point of view. I had my doubts at first reading the storyline this way, as you will end up essentially reading the same story line twice sometimes three times, but I did not. In fact, in reading it this way you get more of what each character is feeling. This is just great vampire romance. Kristin is drawn into a completely new world with the murder of a local girl where she meets Julian and Alexander, vampires. Little does she know that her life is more entwined with theirs than she knows as a past life comes back to haunt her. She is very attracted to both Julian and Alex and must make a choice. Sorry - No spoilers here! But, the choice she makes does surprise me. If you love paranormal romance, I suggest you check this series out. I definitely will read on and see what happens next in book two.
The story opens with cop Kristin working night patrol. She spots a prowler lurking in the dark between the buildings easily with her heightened vampire senses and abilities. The prowler turns out to be an opportunist burglar that Kristin takes down and apprehends with the help of her partner, Mick. The ease of the arrest and the fact that Kristin was able to spot him so effortlessly from where she was stationed draws suspicion from her partner. He's not alone in this. Since gaining her vampiric skills, Kristin's successful arrest rate has increased exponentially, to the point where her colleagues on the force want to know how this can be. Kristin feels under seige not only from those out to kill her, but in her efforts to conceal her vampire identity from the mortals she works alongside on the force. Despite being mated with Alex, Kristin is now even more head-strong and independent than she ever was as a mere mortal. He wants her to make the transition from half breed to full vampire and leave the job she loves. But make demands of Kristin and she'll just dig her heels in harder. She is her own woman and will not be pressured by anyone to quit her vocation for a life of stifling domesticity. However, when Alex is drugged and kidnapped by Burke, a sadistic and homicidal vampire who delights in torture and murder, Kristin puts herself on the line to rescue him. Fans of both cop stories and the vampire genre alike will delight in the magic of the details in this story: the racheting sound handcuffs make when securing around a wrist ... the metallic scent of blood ... the way in which vampires with a bond feel each other's emotions - predominantly pain ... defensive maneuvers cops are trained in to take down criminals ...Read more ›
