Although I hear they are "huge" in Southern California, they are a great "undiscovered" band elsewhere. Karen Lawrence, formerly of 1994: and Karen Lawrence & The Pinz, sings the blues with awe inspiring passion and knowingness. It was if the blues were waiting for her. The sensuous "Goodbye Mr. Jones", "Blue By Nature" and rocking "Cadillac Blues" are my almost favorites here - almost because every track is a standout. If you want to experience the raw passion and power and really feel Ms. Lawrence's voice inside you, give "It's A Man's Man's World" a spin. I haven't played this disc for anyone yet who hasn't been blown away.

A friend saw this band on vacation out in CA. He brought back this CD. It took me a month to find it. Well worth it !!!
