4.0 out of 5 stars Judy bops with the best!
An excellent outing for this very experienced but woefully underrated singer. In this varied set Judy swings with the best and throws in some dazzling displays of technical virtuosity. Check out "Dizzy Atmosphere" for some serious scattin'...!! Backed by the superb and commendably restrained Cedar Walton Trio, Judy's crystal clear tone and perfect phrasing...

3.0 out of 5 stars o.k., vocals are a bit sterile for my tastes...
Judy has the technique together, but there is little "soul" in her singing, especially considering the monster jazz players that
she surrounds herself with. Just not a good mix. I would recommend she stick with broadway show tunes or opera.

5.0 out of 5 stars wow, July 7, 2004

I've memorized every note and solo on this CD but never get tired of it. Moanin' and Dizzy Atmosphere completely blow me away while Gentle Rain and Gee Baby are very intimate and compelling. Judy's musical knowledge is completely audible. A great CD.
