I liked this book very much. It was a lite and easy book to read. The characters were enjoyable as were their stories. It is very faith based and some of the characters turn their back on God for awhile during their lifetimes, then finding thier way back to Him. I found myself liking the women and wanting to know their life stories. I would recommend this book for a night when you put on your PJ's and curl up on the couch with a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate.

This was my first Penelope Stokes book, and a christmas gift. I fell in love with the characters in this book and could not read it fast enough. Needless to say after this one I was hooked and have read ALL but one(and that one, i am about to order)since. It is currently making its way around the women at my church and after that i will donate it to my church library. Penelope Stokes is an amazingly talented story teller. Each of her books has touched my spirit with such a soft touch. I love the way she "writes" about the christian life without "preaching" it. I wish I had just an ounce of her talent. If you have never read Penelope Stokes, I highly recommend starting with this one...or any other one you choose, just get started. You won't be sorry.

Very touching story of the lives of four young friends. Things usually don't happen the way we think they should and this novel discusses that. I have read several of Penelope Stokes' novels and enjoyed them all; this was no exception. Definitely worth the read!

The book came new as stated and for a great price! The free shipping did take several weeks to arrive though, so order in advance.

We read this for our book club at church. I loved it as an awesome tribute to the value and power of friendship. Lives interchange and we don't know what the outcome is. In the end, if you do the right thing, good prevails. We make decisions when we are young, and it may take a lifetime to see them come to fruition.

I haven't read it yet. It was recommended by my daughter who read it at the beach. I ordered it from Amazon because of the great prices and quick turnaround. I
