We bought this item for our 11 year daughter and she loves it! Like the iDog etc., it lights up and has a face with expression, it snores etc. She and her friends get a big kick out of it. The only downside is that it is run on batteries. (Reminds me of those round, colorful transister radios which I loved in my youth.) For an inexpensive speaker set, this one is a hit with the younger crowd!

Very cute iPod accessory! Also coordinates wonderfully with my iMac. I was going to take it to work, but it does make rather a bit of noise. It uses seven - yes, seven - batteries, but once you see it in action, you'll understand why. Lights, motion, sound - it does it all.

I did have one of the leaves detach while I was getting it out of the packaging, but it went right back on with no problem. They are delicately balanced and sway with the slightest air current.

Overall, it's a fun desk toy and if you have to justify the purchase, it has a clock too!

How could the previous reviewer not understand that this item stays on the box base? It is clearly in the description. Perhaps they didn't read the description in full. This is such a cute item. It dances, talks and sings.

this is a great product, it plays your music, it says fun phrases, its a very cute toy.

My Daughter really loves this it is really cute. Much better than the idog in our opinion. Not really loud in the speaker. So adorable, makes faces, blows kisses, flashes hearts and stars. Cool!

This is really cute but it's also really small. Neat item. Worth the Amazon price but not worth the 40-50 price of other websites.

This was a cute concept, but my daughter wasn't near as happy with it as I thought she would be. The leaves fall off constantly and it makes too much noise that interferes with what you're listening to. She listens to audiobooks as she falls asleep and this thing makes all kinds of noises during the dialog and she finds it very distracting and annoying. Not much better while listening to music. It now resides in the bottom of her closet and her i-Dog is front and center - she loves that. I should have saved the money on this thing and bought i-Dog a carry bag and sweater set!

I got this as a Christmas gift from a friend to companion my new Nano. Its very bright and colorful when lit, it makes many funny sounds that are sporadic like snoring, laughing and greetings. The sound quality is surprisingly good and it is very sturdy, my 3 yr old is constantly knocking it over trying to play with the bouncing petals and it's held up well. It is a little top heavy so it sometimes knocks over easily but like I said it is sturdy so its not a big deal. Only real downside is that the cord it comes with is awful short so I am looking for a longer one, they are pretty easy to find. Overall lotsa fun and worth the price!

This is fun and amusing for a teen ager or adult, cute and entertaining. Definitely not a child toy and I don't see any educational value in it. As am an adult...I love it. I saw it being used by an adult as well... which is where I learnt about it... Durable - surprisingly yes...it dropped on the floor and the pieces got off, but nothing "broke" and after inserting the batteries again... it was playing !
Heads up that the batteries for the flower head (3 special clock batteries cost approx $18, plus 4 AAA batteries for the bottom- so batteries cost more than the flower itself...). The explanations for putting it together is micro small, since I just know how to put things together usually without directions...i succeeded. I can see how others might need a magnifying glass and help.
All in all - once you got the batteries (hard to find) and put together... its a great toy !

Overall, this was a fun product. I wasn't expecting it to be STUCK in the box display the whole time. I thought it would come out of the box and sit as a free standing product. Guess that's what I get for thinking. It is a good product yes, just the display of it wasn't overall good in my opinion.
