Overall, a very satisfying compilation. THE IN-BETWEEN, in my opinion, is a straight-up piece of genius BRILLIANCE. And no, I'm not the guy who made it. But that film definitely resonated with me the most. The other films are all uniformly excellent. WE ONCE WERE TIDE is probably the most intelligent entry. I actually had to watch it twice to really get what was going on. And I wouldn't call myself an unintelligent person, so it musta been smart. I can definitely see the director of REVOLUTION going on to make features.

For a collection of shorts these were average with no one really standing out. A good watch for a slow afternoon.

Good selection of stories. Just enough pathos.

Liked some of the shorts "We once were tide" probably the best. The others were ok, but "Frozen Roads" was a little less so. I was expecting something like the Green Briefs, but this one was not quite the same.

Each film is very well acted and is like a slice of life. As you watch, you find yourself thinking you'd like it to continue as it comes to an end.

After seeing and loving Green Briefs, I expected to like this collection of short films as well. In every case, though, I found the characters less than interesting, I seldom cared about them, and I found several of the films impenetrable in terms of what they were trying to say. Further, several of these shorts are available for free on YouTube and I'd already seen them there. No close captioning is available, and it would have been useful in some of them, notably "We Once Were Tide," which is British film with British accents. (By the way, what does "tide" mean in this context? I never figured it out.)
