The best on the market.. why pay more?,

This stuff has been around forever and is so inexpensive! It softens the worst hard cuticles and will takes stains off, too. I've tried more expensive brands, but always come back to this. I don't know why anyone would use anything else.

Does what it says!,

I bought and used this under the impression that I didn't really have any dead cuticle but it couldn't hurt anything to try. I was really surprised to see how much gunk I was able to gently scrape away! I used a little bitty spray bottle to apply it, which makes it handy to just spritz a tiny bit on each fingertip, and then while it was still wet I used my metal cuticle pusher. I think this stuff also whitened my nails slightly, or it could just be that it broke down any residue of crap that was underneath.
I also tried it on my feet -- wetting my feet with it thoroughly, letting it sit a few minutes and scrubbing with a Salux cloth and foot file. Naturally, my toenails all looked great, but I'm not sure that it did a better job on my dry soles than a long hot soak followed by scrubbing. Maybe the magical recipe is the long hot soak and *then* the Blue Cross Cuticle Remover. At any rate the cuticle remover method is faster when I don't have time to soak.

I was skeptical when I read the reviews of this product. I have been looking for a no-nonsense cuticle remover, and this is it. Yes, it is big and bulky, and I need to get a smaller bottle to pour some in so I can store the rest. But this gets the job done, quickly and easily. I simply soak a cotton swab and wet down my cuticles well. Then I push them back, and wash in warm, soapy water. It removes them quickly and efficiently, and does not have an overpowering chemical smell. The quantity will last for a long, long time. I am very pleased.
