There are other methods out there to ensue your HDMI cables don't fall out of their intended sockets (e.g., Accell B104C-010B-40 AVGrip Pro HDMI 1.3 10.2 Gbps Cable, with locking Connector (10 feet / 3 meters, Black) - which also works, BTW!), but these are cheaper, and work with any cable mfr you want to use. The instructions are easy, and cover several installation complication possibilities. My TV, Sony KDL-52XBR5, has recessed HDMI ports. Well, a adapter posts and screws are included and work perfectly! My AV receiver's (Onkyo 805) HDMI ports are not recessed and the mount works with the Onkyo screw.
Highly recommended! Oh, I bought them directly from Blue Echo's website...

I bought the Blue Echo HD EZ lock for a heavy HDMI output cable from my receiver to my TV that kept pulling out. The EZ lock completely solved the problem and the cable is now firmly attached to my receiver. It was easy to install with good detailed instructions. I only ordered one package since I did not know how well this would work but I will now be ordering enough additional locks to attach all of my cables. Highly recommended.

Your Home receiver has one HDMI out probably. Most likely you are running your HDMI cable from here to a TV that may be several feet away. If you break your HDMI out you are sunk. You went from having a convenient way to connect multiple video sources, and display them on your TV, to having an old fashioned receiver thats good for audio and component inputs.
I had this exact scenario play out. My receiver's HDMI out broke when sliding it back in place. Any other part wouldn't have been an issue. I installed these on the replacement receiver, and could instantly tell there was a significant difference in the tension placed on the plug. I would advise anyone installing a new receiver to purchase these for your HDMI ports, or at least your HDMI out.
