This review is from: Blue Entrance (Audio CD)
In his autobiography, Miles Davis wrote that, when Jimi Hendrix died, Miles was trying to recruit him for a project that would fuse blues-based rock and Miles's brand of bebop. Carl Filipiak is an example of what that music might have sounded like if Jimi hadn't thrown it all away on heroin. Check out this CD to see what happens when a creative and musically literate guitarist fuses blues, rock and jazz!
