Some "light-bulb" at Blu Goo decided to tinker with the packaging, switching to a bottle as opposed to the jar we've all come to enjoy using. Why is anyone's guess; but I've informed them below of my own dissatisfaction with this change, and perhaps you can add your voice too.

RE: New Blu Goo packaging

I have been using your product, "Blu Goo" for over 3 yrs. now to treat my osteoarthritis. I've been happy with the product, despite it's cost until lately when I discovered you've changed your packaging. WHY?
True, the new bottle offers 6 ounces of product as opposed to the 4 ounces formerly found in the cold cream jar package; but that factor is small compensation for the difficulties you've created for your Customers now.

For one thing, unlike the cold cream jar; I will never be able to use all of that 6 ozs. of product you now promise without taking a razor knife to the bottle, and cutting the top off!

Next, you've made the product much more difficult to dispense; especially for those suffering from arthritis. What "bright boy" or girl thought this packaging change up anyway?! "Hellooo"... the wide open mouth of a jar is much more "User Friendly" to arthritic hands than a bottle they have to SQUEEZE! Do you realize how much pain they have to suffer just to get to your product now???

Finally, there apparently are some Competitors out there who've done their homework, for now they are offering a 6 oz. cold cream style jar of their product; i.g. - "Blu Ice".

I just thought you should know that I, and no doubt many others find this to be a "Deal-Breaker".

I am a Certified Massage Therapist and this is my favorite product to use for my clients. I have tried some higher end (significantly more expensive) products, and never obtained the same results. I have suggested to many of my clients to pick up their own jar to keep handy at home - and they have expressed the same opinion as I have...it works!

Don't be fooled by the inexpensive price, it is an excellent product. Just the fact that the very first ingredient is "Certified organically grown whole leaf aloe vera gel" tells me that they care what they put in their product. The scent is mild - which works great for chair massage clients that need to go back to work. Additionally, some of my clients really dislike the strong menthol scent that other products have - but this one doesn't (yet they managed to keep the menthol in it). Win/win.

The name (Blue Goo) is accurate - it is actually blue - so bear that in mind if you apply it while wearing white, (or use with massage table sheets) etc. However, I have never noticed any residual stains, etc. It's always washed right out.

It has 11% Emu oil (which is an anti-inflammatory). This a higher concentrate than other products that I have found (and again, usually less than half the price too).

I've recently discovered that Wal-Mart has discontinued selling it (boo!) - so I was very relieved that Amazon continues to carry it.

I LOVE this product - I hope they don't change a thing!

This product is like no other that I've tried. I've used all kinds of "pain relief" products from Ben Gay to Icey Hot to even the stuff recommended by my chiropractor. They all were either hot or cold. When you put them on, you either felt a lot of heat or a lot of cold. And, they all smell. With this stuff, you really don't feel anything. And, you don't really smell anything either.

I mean you put it on, and you wonder if it's doing anything. You really don't feel it. You kind of forget you even put some on. Yet, 10 minutes or so later, your pain is basically gone; or certainly lessened significantly.

I have this ongoing issue with my neck muscles and the back of my head. I've been going to a chiropractor probably at least once every other week for years because of headaches (high up in the back of my neck) and very tight neck muscles. I've tried other muscle rubs, heating pads, even electrical stim. The other day, I got another headache and felt my neck muscles being quite tight. I had my wife rub some on my neck, on both sides of my spine. I promptly forgot about it and shortly thereafter went to bed. I woke up the next morning with no headache and my neck muscles no longer were tight or sore. It was amazing. It's almost like I don't believe it.

I can't say this enough; it doesn't smell, it's not hot, it's not cold. I'm not sure how it does it, but it works! In fact, I bought the jar for myself and now my wife has used 10 X's more of it than I have. And, she's the world's largest skeptic. I will definitely be ordering more when this jar runs out.

Since I had my son 9 months ago, I've been suffering from wrist pain. The pain is especially sharp around my thumbs. I haven't been diagnosed by a doctor, but I have a suspicion that the pain is akin to arthritis. I bought this same gel at Big Lots today for $5.00 and I've had it on for over an hour now. It has relieved the pain. I'm terribly excited. Since I'm constantly picking up my son, I'm constantly aggravating the pain and since I won't let the pain stop me from picking him up, I'm really, really hoping this will work for me long term.
