Product Description

Many of the great historical cultures had one common supplment they relied on to ensure strong mind, body and spirit - fermented cod liver oil. The Mighty Roman Soldier was given a daily ration of fermented fish/liver oil. The Stoic Scandinavian Viking had a drum of fermented cod livers outside the door of his home. Grandma always had a bottle of cod liver oil in the back cupboard. A proprietary cold process extraction and cleaning method is used to produce this pristine and naturally fresh cod liver oil. You will taste the difference, and you will feel the energy! Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil is batch processed and independently tested to international purity standards. You will find Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil is thick, rich, and full of pigment and naturally occurring nutrients, just as historically treasured. Each 1 mL of Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil contains 3500 IU Vitamin A, 600 IU Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Omega 3,6,7,9,140 mg EPA,75 mg DHA,and Quinones with Organic Virgin Cinnamon Tingle Flavor. Ingredients include cod liver oil, sun dried seaweed, organic anti-oxidant with rosemary, and organic cinnamon oil. Fermented CLO has a different feel or action than traditional processed CLO's. You may experience a slight dryness or tingle in the back of the throat (lactic acid similar to apple cider vinegar). If this is bothersome then you might take the CLO as they did years ago, described by Dale Alexander. Take 1 ounce +/- of fresh full fat (non-homogenized if possible) milk or cream and mix with your dose of CLO. Other possible emulsifiers are organic orange juice and apple cider vinegar. Each bottle of Blue Ice Cod Liver contains 250 mL.

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for your health..... but....., September 15, 2009

This review is from: Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver oil (Health and Beauty)
I am huge with using supplements and amino acids for health & mental well being. As a matter of fact I have gotten off two SSRI's, blood pressure med and Lipator by learning about how to manage my health naturally (read Dr. Julia Ross: The Mood Cure & The Diet Cure both here on Amazon). I've been using Cod Liver Oil (large amounts for treatment of different ailments.....6000iu in a.m. & again 6000iu in p.m.) and I have had just wonderful, amazing & thrilling success with CLO, along with several other things not the least of which is L-tryptophan - (again, see the books I've mentioned above and a huge resource of info on CLO is the Weston A Price Foundation.....they have an amazingly dense site which I encourage you to check out.... the best info on CLO you will find). I have been using Carlson's capsules, 1000mg each sometimes w/lemon essence added & sometimes not but never mattered to me because I had absolutely no problem with "repeating" even in the large amounts I was taking. I did, however, start to wonder if I could benefit from this type of CLO (liquid) not only physically & mentally but also with having to take A LOT fewer pills each day. Now, with all that said - so you know I am a huge believer in CLO for health - I have to be honest and tell you that this liquid, for me, is almost gaggy it is so hard to swallow.... this is one teaspoon mixed in 4 or 5 oz. of warmish water w/large lemon slice squeezed in.... I just dread it and not only that but it definitely repeats that fishy flavor, lemon or not. I would hate to think what this would be like if it were, like my husband remembers from being a child, in a large kitchen spoonful. Yikes.
I love CLO for what it does for my body & mind but I will be re-ordering the Carlson's again (best deal I've found is here on Amazon) and anxiously awaiting the delivery so I can go back to twelve pills a day! I am lucky (unlike my husband) because I can easily swallow large handfuls of pills.... If you can not handle large pills or the taste of the liquid I would still greatly encourage you to take the smaller pills, with food, as needed for what you are addressing. Check out the Weston A. Price site and read Dr. Ross' books...they not only changed my life but have SAVED my life as well....
Good heath to you.

This is an excellent product for people who are interested in their health. Cod liver oil is very beneficial for omega 3's as well as vitamin D, in which each and everyone of us need. This product is definitely worth the price, but than again who can put a price on your health? I take this because I care and want to take care of myself.

This product is vital to my well being. I have plain old osteoarthritis, and this is my treatment. Some folks have a hard time with the flavor, but sauerkraut juice is wonderful.
