With so many folk-based neo-classic-rock bands coming out, my ear is tired. The song is okay, but it's certainly not incredible. I don't really catch the point of the lyrics. The sound is more from the "alternative" 90s, and the musical interlude seems placed there more because they needed to fill out a song, than for any legitimate musical idea.

I don't know what it is about this song but to me it freaking kills. Good song to jam in the car, windows down, driving down a long road at night deep in thought.

Good song, but did not meet my musical tastes. Would not ignore this artist and listen to further music in the future.

This was also a free mp3 download and I just like to listen to this type of music for a change of pace from the regular style of music you usually hear. Most of the music I listen to is from a local country-music fm radio station with their morning show from 6 to 9 am (while I wake up in the morning) and the on line internet site VEVO. With these two I can keep up with country music and the current pop and new releases by the poplar singers of the day. If I find a song I like I then check on Amazon mp3 site to purchase it.

Only got it because it was free but I like the song...to at least add to my overall collection. I'm a DJ and as such, I might be a little more critical but the basic review is that I don't hate the song...it's enough to keep in my main collection but for personal tastes it's going to stay there...it's not something that's going to be in my regular rotation say, in my car or on my mp3 player. Still would recommend if you know this artist.

I want to like this song more, but it's missing something. It's got a good beat, it's very smooth and mellow. But I can't tell if maybe it's the singer or the background singers? I just don't know. It's got a lot of the characteristics I like in a song, but not quite put together in the right way. Oh well.. In any case it's free and you can't complain too much for that kind of a price!!

free is a price I'll pay for anything that takes up no physical space. I don't really know anything about this band, and I don't think I even like this song, or album, i can't really be sure which it is, but NPR was streaming Optica last week and 3 of the last 4 songs were really good, so this band is on my radar, now.

The Shout Out Louds are showing the benefits of having played together for a number of years. This latest sound seems tighter and more accessible. I think it's about time for them to be getting a little more love from the blogs. This song has the feel of something that will only get better the more I listen.
