Excellent storage variety,

These are very easy to grow in full sun with little attention. Once ripe, they will look great on your porch for Halloween/Thanksgiving. After fall, they keep for a year or more in the basement/cellar. Roasted with butter and brown sugar they are amazing! We had one of our wettest years in history and they still came out great.

Although I ordered my seeds too late in the planting season to sow them this year, I'm very excited to plant my Blue Jarrahdales next year!
Over the last several years I've picked Blue Jarrahdale pumpkins from an Alabama farm and have found them to be simply THE BEST pumpkins. They're quite dense (one 7 pound pumpkin made 4 pumpkin pies and 6 loaves of pumpkin bread) and are hugely tasty!

My seeds emerged as the largest pumpkin sprouts that I had ever seen, and continued to grow into robust vines. They are healthy with no signs of mildew, and only need additional watering on the hottest days.
I am very impressed so far, and can't wait to see the fruits when they are produced this fall!
