This is the only product that actually removed all of the blue and even the yellows. Pipes looked brand new when I was done. I keep a jar of it in my shop now!

After I watched the videos on youtube I bought a jar. I was glad I saw the video, made it much easier. PipeBlue Job Chrome Polish .5 oz stayed clean about a year until this November I was sitting at a stoplight, choke on, blue came back. Strange, but it came off much easier the second time I blued it.

A complete waste. I followed the directions to the letter, and it did nothing. My CBX pipes are still blue.

Gets rid of the blue...temporarily,

Well this stuff works on the wierd blue color that comes from your pipes getting too hot, but it wont last, the only way to fix the problem is getting your pipes re-cromed. It happens because your pipes aren't thick enough. but its done a good enough job to fix temporarily, much cheaper and easier to do once a year or so, than getting your pipes re-chromed.

I bought a Harley nighster about 2 months ago from a chevy dealership that got the bike in on trade. The bike was a great price and in perfect shape except the tips of both exhaust pipes had been seriously blued. After scratchin our heads over it for awhile, me and my dad realized whoever had the bike before had used a cutting torch to burn the baffles out of the mufflers. The extreme heat had blued both pipes. I don't have the money right now for new pipes and I wanted more than anything to get rid of that ugly bluing. After reading a few reviews on Blue-job I decided to give it a try. I received my package very fast and tried it out on the cool pipes. I spit on the rag that comes with the blue-job to get it moist and dipped it into the powder to create a white paste. I used a carpenter pencil to wrap the rag around and went to work on the pipes, rubbing very hard back and forward. I couldn't believe my eyes!!! The blue and yellow was actually coming off to a nice chrome finish. I did both pipes and they look awesome...like they were brand new. I still have a lot of blue job left since it only took a few dabs into the powder to do both pipes. Great product...highly recommended!!!

Really works if......,

I had used this product on a Triumph some years ago with little success, but I just got through taking the the blue and gold right off my Laverda pipes. Maybe I followed the directions this time! Be patient and follow the directions. It is not an easy, wipe-on-wipe-off, process.

Did exactly what it was supposed to do. Took a little work but got the blue off my custom Harley pipes. My Springer pipes look great. Worked better than I expected.

I'm a sucker for my bike and I had to rub it on real hard for a long time. But other than requiring some work to get the blue off it's the best polish for blued Harley pipes that I ever tried. Nothing else even comes close. It actually removed ALL the blue without scratching my pipes and it is so much cheaper than a new set of pipes. The label says if it does not work they will give you back your money. Clever!

This stuff works FAR better than anything else I've tried. It takes rubbing, but it does work - only don't expect it to remove blue 10 years old. It did the job on headers that where pretty bad - I did use a very small electric buffer to make the job easier.
