quiescent music from Sweden, October 5, 2005

Sofia Talvik is a guitar player from Stockholm, visit her website for some music samples from before she met the Tall Boys. Her music has been described as reminiscent of Nick Drake or Tori Amos, but also I would consider it significant that she opened for Suzanne Vega on some of her recent European tour dates. (Don't worry about a language barrier, all the songs are in English.) I don't know how easy it is for an artist of this nature to be heard in the US, but I am looking forward to her future recordings, and you should look forward to this one.
